Absolutely correct. Democrats have absolutely no clue just how much they have damaged this Constitutional Republic and the freedom that it once stood for. They don't understand freedom.
Ha, ha, ha. You think I don't know? You think that I don't know that it feeds off of suckers who buy into all that it promises but just cannot ever fulfill?
Perhaps, what is more important is for YOU to define what socialism is. Because you're the one who appears to be supporting it. If you are going to support it then perhaps you had better find out just what it is. Then look at all of the attempts to make socialism work around the world and what it has done to those countries.
Have you heard of the National Socialist German Workers Party? Just checking if you know your history.
Nazism, the ideology of the NSGWP, or the Nazi Party, has almost no correlation to modern day socialist beliefs, and was more closely related to Mussolini's ideology, fascism, also being completely totalitarian.
Socialism is a group of ideologies that branches into more ideology groups that branch into more ideologies.
Notable examples of its branches are Marxism, anarchism, and Taylorism
"has almost no correlation to modern day socialist beliefs, and was more closely related to Mussolini's ideology, fascism, also being completely totalitarian."
That's exactly what modern socialists just keep telling themselves, yet you find nothing but correlation between Nazism and, yes, even fascism with modern socialism with fascism, being a variation of socialism (as well as communism).
There is a version of anarchism that exists to tear down an existing government to replace it with with socialism. That anarchy has no relation to those who do not want to live with any government.
Socialism, no matter what you want to call it, all is based on the lost of individual rights and freedoms. If some socialist promised you anything other than that they are lying. Socialism and all of it's variations are a blight. It is directly responsible for the genocide of 100 million people and the misery and suffering of billions more.
You can already see the damage it has caused to inner cities that have been under Democrat control for decades. While not completely socialist, they have more socialist policies in place than the rest of the country.
Socialism predates Marx but it is has been heavily influenced by Marx.
It and all of this variations do not understand or care to understand human nature. It looks at everyone equally and forces them to live as equals. Much like ants. Humans are not ants. We want to live our lives the way we decide without government interference. Socialism is the polar opposite of that.
Sweden experimented with socialism several years ago. It just about destroyed their economy and they had to back off and become a little more market based. They are still mostly socialist.
Denmark's taxes are through the roof. Cars cost 3 times as much in Denmark than in the US and the increase in cost is all taxes.
If you think those countries are "way better than the US" then move there and take all of the rest of the socialists, communists, fascists and nazis with you. That way you can have your utopian slavery and we'll be free.
Who's doing the ranking? Socialist? Like I said, if you think socialism is so great, MOVE!!!!!
I prefer to live as a free man than a slave and I don't want you in my country trying to undermine the freedom this country has.
You may hate America but I see what the founding fathers were trying to give us as the greatest political/economic system ever devised by mankind.
That's why the vast majority of all the greatest accomplishments in science and technology happened here. Sure other nations have done great things but their great things were built on ideas that originated here.
So go! Go find yourself a socialist paradise and move there. In America you are free to expatriate any time you want. Just know that you might not have that kind of freedom in a socialist utopia.
What question? Was the one about Duolingo? Yes, I have heard of and used Duolingo. I'm not going to learn Swedish because the likelihood of me ever needing Swedish is extremely low. In fact all of the Swedish people that I have met in my life also spoke English, so if Swedes are learning English then why would I need to learn Swedish? Is Sweden planning on taking over the world? Am I going to be moving to Sweden in my future and you are a clairvoyant? Why are you so insistent that I learn Swedish. I have nothing against the Swedish people. For a long time Ancestry.com said that part of my DNA is Swedish but the last time they updated it they took Swedish away and said that now I am 4% Danish and 3% Icelandic. I have no idea where any of that ties into my genealogy because I am mostly English, Scottish, Irish, Belgian and German in my genealogy
Your quote: "'anything Spanish'
y'know where Spanish originates from, pal?"
Huh? Are you arguing with yourself. My last comment contained your comment in quotes. I did that because it is increasingly harder to find a comment you made that has a reply button.
This was your comment: "personally judging from the way you talk the closest you're getting to anything Spanish is your local Taco Bell". That's where you got the "anything Spanish" from.
I still don't know why you asked me if I know where Spanish comes from. That question didn't make sense. What I mean is everyone knows that Spanish is a Latin based language. It comes from the Latin language that was spread across ancient Rome which covered nearly all of southern Europe.
Yes. I used it for a while. I don't know why I stopped. I was using it to learn Spanish. Spanish, for me, would be a whole lot more useful than Swedish. I'm also trying to learn Scots.
"Att behöva använda onlineöversättare för att förstå svenska på A1-nivå är pinsamt."
Jag vet inte vad som är så pinsamt med det. Jag bor i USA och har aldrig varit i Sverige. Jag skulle vilja åka dit en dag, men med den sorts pengar jag tjänar tvivlar jag på att det någonsin kommer att hända.
Although being mixed economies, they still implemented part of the ideology, and therefore, have also been doing way better than the United States in terms of crime rate, GDP/capita, and overall QOL, with the Nordics, which use mixed economies with more socialist qualities than the United States.
"the one about "where did Spanish come from"
tell me."
Check my other replies to you. And if you can't do that then Spanish came from Latin. I'm not sure why that was so important for you to know if I knew. English came from the Germanic languages and is heavily influenced by Latin. Are there any other languages that you think it is important to know if I know where they came from?
Do you want me to tell you all of the Latin based languages? Spanish, French, Portuguese, Italian and Romanian.
the country that brought Spanish to Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay.
alongside Cuba, eastern Hispaniola, more commonly known as the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Jamaica, originally known as Santiago in its Spanish days, and some Lesser Antilles islands
