Dude, downvotes on here are a badge of honor. Wear it with pride.

If you want upvotes, just make a "meme" making fun of "trannies" or how Muslims are all terrorists or something. I can give you tips if you want.

You don't come here for the upvotes or downvotes. That's meaningless. People can downvote stuff to oblivion if they want. That's the beauty of freedom. You come here to express your opinion and hopefully justify and back it up with logic and facts and expect to be challenged if you're mistaken about anything (which happens to all of us).

If you were just here to be popular, then I'm afraid you misread the blurb. If you want that, you can just go along with the echo chamber and repeat the creed. But where's the fun in that? Just agree to get votes? Boring. Trolling people and being unpopular is way more fulfilling.

(Let me help you out:
-Climate change is a hoax.
-Covid is a hoax.
-Vaccines are a hoax.
-"So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them." And that's that.
-Immigrants have a far higher rate of violent criminals than the general population.
-Islam is a political ideology that teaches hate and violence and its ultimate goal is the violent replacement of Western civilization
-Trump is the best President the US has had in years and Biden is a pedo (tbf, the sniffing thing is pretty creepy, actually)
-Imposing huge tariffs on your trading partners is good and will boost the US economy and help the average US citizen, even in industries the US has limited or no experience in and relies on imports for
-Liberals are all Hamas-supporting, terrorist-sympathizing, blue-haired, gender-bending unemployed weirdos who want to indoctrinate our kids and destroy traditional family values)

Etc.

Let me know if you need any more tips.

Also, Enoch is a Hebrew name. That's not allowed. I suggest changing it to Ahmedthewatcher or something. Thank me later.

Hating Islamic extremism is actually the normal thing to do. Why don't you hate it? I'm proudly bigoted against extremism and terrorism from any ideology. Even Buddhism for goodness sake. Why aren't you? That's a problem.
1 up, 3w,
1 reply
I agree with your point. Extremism in any ideology (and that includes not just religions, but any ideology, be that political, economical or whatever else) is the problem. And when extremists get too loud a voice and start dominating the narrative and drowning out more sensible or nuanced views (or views backed by actual academics and scholars), and then conflating their extremist take with the ideology as a whole, that's a very big problem.
1 up, 3w,
1 reply
I think its perfectly normal to be suspicious of any ideology that so easily leads to extremism. Don't you? If you don't that's a red flag.
0 ups, 3w,
1 reply
Yes. Btw, I'm not throwing a tantrum. (You deleted ur msg. I'm agreeing with you, bro (or sis, etc).

I may have disagreed with you on other points, but I'm agreeing with you on this specific one (that I reject extremism in all its forms, as it appears you do). So we're agreed on that & that's great.

I'm not here to pick fights with anyone, actually, even if it might appear that way. (I admit, my very first comment was a bit sarky when I called your meme "BS" so that's fair enough & I accept the consequences. I can be a bit of an annoying troll sometimes & don't deny that. But my goal in life is not to fight people at all; it's merely to challenge their ideas. I want to live in peace with everyone & I want every human being to have a good life, live in peace, fulfil their potential, raise a family if they want, & do everything else almost all humans want. We're really not that different at the end of the day. Despite all our perceived superficial differences, we have a surprising amount in common (thankfully).

But tbf you've gotta surely admit your meme was *potentially* inviting that kind of reaction, right? If you wanted to be clear you weren't just hating on Muslims or Muslim immigrants in general but specifically Islamic extremists, then you could've arguably made your meme a bit less ambiguous. The image of the portcullis being lifted & zombies infiltrating the city kind of invites itself to that interpretation at first glance. (Especially on this place, where anti-Muslim/Islam "memes" are non-stop, so please forgive us if we do jump to conclusions you didn't intend.) I would wager I'm not the only person who possibly misinterpreted your intentions.

There's probably a few people who have totally "opposite" political views to me who also interpreted the image that way. (So basically both me & people who I vehemently disagree with on some political issues both interpreted your meme image the same way. You get me?)

You've since clarified to me that it's specifically Islamic extremism you have an issue with, & apparently not Muslim immigrants in general, or even necessarily immigrants in general. Which is great. Because I'm also not religious & also have a problem with Islamic extremism (or any extremism). I don't want to live in an Islamic theocracy or have Islamist nutjobs running my government any more than you do. So yes we may still be on the same page. I just want everyone to live in peace & believe in human rights, dignity & the rule of law.)

because white people living in states like Texas, Nebraska, any state west of Wisconsin save California hate anything that isn't white straight and Christian. hate is all this meme is, how can you misinterpret "Islamic extremism" to anything else but systemic racism
1 up, 3w
Why would it matter if an Islamic was an extremist? If they wanted to be their extremist way, and live how they choose—why do we care?

I could care less. Unless they’re blowing things up and killing people.

The laws of nature say the bees live in their hive. They never invade other hives. They never dictate how other bee hives make their honey. They don’t even fight with other bees from other hives for using the same flowers for nectar!!!

Why would we be doing that if they’re making their own honey how they want to?

The problem is when someone takes over the hive. To dictate the edicts on how to make the honey—that that’s the problem.

And that will ALWAYS lead to a war. Where every bee will fight to the death, before it submits.

This is just the natural law of the biological programming of nearly all living things.

Look, I'll respond rationally to actual memes that can actually use Spellcheck. This is not even a challenge.

This viral "meme" contains lots of weak arguments that can be easily refuted, but the creator is so lazy they haven't even spelt it right, so why should I bother to use the same intellectual energy (of 2 brain cells?) to refute it?

It's frankly pathetic. And only reinforces the stereotypes that Trump Club are uneducated hicks who never went to school.

Sorry this meme got you (and everyone else) so angry. You say the meme contained weak arguments that could be easily refuted, yet you didn't refute any of them and just went on a rant. If you look at history and look into the teachings of the Koran, you'll see many of them are true. But any religion in the hands of evil people will produce horrible things. Under Roman Catholicism, horrible things were done in the name of Christianity. A true Christian follows the teachings of Jesus Christ. I pray that you find Him and make Him Lord of your life. Life is short, and we never know when our time will come. When we step into eternity, nothing else will matter. At least, this is what I believe. As a wise man once said, you have to stand for something, or you'll fall for anything.
1 up, 3w,
1 reply
Yes.

I'm sorry your meme got such negative feedback, actually. I didn't get angry at all btw. I'm just bored of seeing the same old arguments.

But yes, the arguments in the meme were pretty lame. Sorry. It's not that I'd be annoyed or offended in any way (I'm not offended in way btw) to refute the arguments; it's that I've seen them all before so I just can't be bothered.

<Life is short, and we never know when our time will come. When we step into eternity, nothing else will matter

It may surprise you but I definitely agree with this. I don't believe in any god. But I absolutely agree with that, actually. Yes, I'm an atheist. I still appreciate the shortness of life.

Life IS short, yes. Very short. I may be an atheist, but it doesn't mean I don't think about this stuff. If anything, I think about my mortality more than most people. I think about that every single day.

Life is very short, and precarious. So I do agree with you on that.

We get one shot. No point spending it arguing online. I've recently lost relatives.

You get one life. Why why waste it being negative? Arguing? Why waste it doing anything?

Every second is precious, right?

Whether you believe in something after, or not, this is your one life, right? So live it well.

I agree with you.

Every second you spend being angry is a second you lost of your one precious life. Every second you spend being unhappy or negative is a second is a second of your one your one precious life.

Whether you get a new life, or this is the only one, it's the same thing, right? So thank you for reminding me to be grounded. Every single second I spend being negative is a second is a second I will never get back.

And I could die in a car crash tomorrow. And all this would be bullshit. Puts it in perspective. So thank you.
1 up, 3w
You're welcome. I hope that you find your way, man. It says in Ecclesiastes, "he has put eternity into their hearts".
I have believed for a long time now that any negative thought we get in our head is from the enemy. (Satan and his demons.)

The purpose of my post was not to be negative, but to be as a warning. Just like if I believed a truck was coming around the corner and you were playing in the street, I would call out and warn you to get out of the way. A famous atheist once said that he actually admired and respected someone that tried to tell him the gospel. He said "if you really believed that people were dying and going to an awful place like hell, and didn't tell anyone, what kind of person would that make you?".

And that is also what causes so many problems. People comfortable in their sinful lifestyles don't want to hear it. So the slightest mention of Jesus or the Bible causes them to get angry. Which is weird, because no one gets mad at someone that believes in the tooth fairy, or Santa Claus, because they know they're not real. So if God isn't real, why get mad? It's almost like deep down inside they know he is. And that he has put eternity in their hearts...😉

1 up, 3w,
1 reply
Did Christianity really spread "voluntarily".

That's quite a big claim to make.
1 up, 3w
It's not that big of a claim. Sure, during the Crusades Christianity became a tool of political force, but for the first several hundred years of Christianity's existence, it itself was politically persecuted, especially under Nero and Diocletian. So it had to rely on missionary trips and word-of-mouth especially via ancient trade routes to spread. It was basically just another underground "slave religion"in the Roman Empire before it was finally legalized in 313AD.
Even after legalization, Christianity was just tolerated like all of the other religions in Rome at the time.
1 up, 3w,

Christianity may be spread voluntarily today, but definitely not back in the day.

1 up, 3w,

I hate ALL forms of extremism. Whether spread by the sword, or people high on crack. I don't actually care if you believe in God. (Whatever that means. What on earth does "God" even mean anyway? How arrogant to assume you can define that simply in human language? How dare you? Define the ineffable in human words? The height of arrogance and blasphemy if you ask me.)

I don't believe in any god and I know I'm going to hell. But I care about humans. I don't actually care what you believe in. But do you believe in common human decency? Do you care about showing compassion to other sentient organisms?

I care about that. I couldn't give a damn what religion you follow, if any. Just don't be a psycho, okay? Are you basically reasonable and have 2 brain cells to rub together? Do you follow basic rules of morality or are you a lunatic?

That's what I care about? Can you even spend 2 seconds to spellcheck a meme before sharing it? I make typos all the time in messages, btw (guilty as charged), but at least in memes I double-check what I'm sending. Sending a meme with a ridiculous obvious typo is not just tacky; it's pathetic.

It's also an own goal. We don't even have to refute your arguments; we can just correct your spelling so you're letting us be lazy. But in any case the "arguments" in that meme are dumb. I can refute them point by point if you really want and show how they're all wrong or at least oversimplified. But I have better things to do. And I'm not even a Muslim ffs.

Why do I even care? (Honestly? I'm going to Hell anyway. So why am I defending Islam and Muslims, you may ask? Because I still care about truth.) So stop spreading nonsense. Go and touch grass or something. Isn't that what you online rightwingers are obsessed with these days? Touch grass. You know, that green stuff. Not the stuff you smoke. (I have no judgement on that either btw. Some of my best friends some weed all day. And I'm pretty liberal re drugs.)

But even that would be better than spreading hate online that can be refuted in 5 minutes of basic fact-checking.

Christianity was spread voluntarily until the Roman Catholic Church co-opted it and tried to control it.
Then it was spread by political and enforcement force. Unless you are talking about the crusades which was a response to hundreds of years of Islamic encroachment.
1 up, 3w,
1 reply
Political and enforcement force isn’t much better. Does it really seem Christian to force Native American children into Christian schools and beating them for speaking their native languages? Was it Christian to forcibly push them further and further West because of the American belief that we were chosen by God, as if God favors any group of people more than others?
0 ups, 3w,
1 reply
No, that was the point. The catholic church wasn't Christian. It was a political government over most of Europe.
Native Americans fought each other, the colonists, and anyone else that came along. They took slaves, murdered peaceful farmers, went back on their treaties, etc...etc...
They were pushed west through self preservation.
As to the other claims you'll have to come up with some sources and evidence. They could be a fake as the mass Graves at churches. School was rough for everyone during those time. Everyone got beaten for misbehaving or not following instructions.
0 ups, 3w,
1 reply
The Catholic Church created Christianity. You can't say it wasn't Christian because Christian is the Catholic Church and would not exist without it. At all. In any form.

Native Americans were genocided out of an entire hemisphere encompassing two continents. From the look outside my window, it's really hard to make an argument that they were the aggressors. Aggressors don't extirpate themselves, they do the extirpating.

What school has graveyards for hundreds of their students?
0 ups, 3w,
2 replies
Lol no. Christianity was created in Roman times when a man named Jesus was crucified by Roman's and their followers spread to other countries. The Catholic Church was founded over 100 years later.

You need to learn the history then. They fought among themselves over choice hunting grounds and fought over women and power just like everyone everywhere else, the difference was they didn't have Christian traditions and morals to temper their hands.

No comprehensive, reliable estimate exists for the total number of Native Americans killed by each other across the colonial period (roughly 1492–1890). Specific conflicts, such as the Beaver Wars (mid-17th century), involved significant inter-tribal violence, with the Iroquois Confederacy attacking Huron, Algonquin, and other groups to control the fur trade. Thousands likely died in these wars, but exact numbers are unavailable

Given the lack of data, it’s reasonable to conclude that inter-tribal deaths numbered in the tens of thousands over centuries, but this is a rough approximation based on the scale of known conflicts and the population estimates of Native American groups.

Summing known conflicts and massacres, historians estimate 50,000–100,000 Native Americans were killed by colonists and early Americans through direct violence (warfare, massacres, and executions) from the 17th to 19th centuries.

Historians estimate 10,000–20,000 colonists and Americans were killed by Native Americans from the 17th to 19th centuries, based on major conflicts and frontier raids.

The only reason the colonists numbers are lower is they had firearms and technology. Essentially they were at conflict with each other all the time until the Europeans showed up and joined the fray.

Correct, Christianity was created 100 years after it supposedly begun. There is no Jesus in history prior to that. He did not exist. Oh, this is where you correct me and say that it's 90 years that Jesus did not exist till he was discovered. I stand corrected.

I just skimmed through - skimmed through - your uncredited copy paste and just saw a couple of figures which contradict your assertion. 10,000 - 20,000 hardly exceeds 50,000 - 100,000, and the latter is not only exceedingly 'conservative' (if you can even call such an astronomically biased figure that), it does not include the masses more killed by disease - some of it deliberately spread, famine, and the usual assortment of causes of death that go along with mass and sudden force displacement. You know, walking for hundreds and hundreds of miles without shelter during winter with minimum provisions, other than tears, for example.

Excuse my typos, I'm tired and my head is hurting.

No sorry, references to the new testament have been dated to within a few years of the events as well as historical reports from "enemies" verify it all happened. This has been debunked by serious scholars over and over to the point that even atheists believe a man named Jesus started a religious movement at the time.

The numbers don't exceed it because those numbers are only observed conflicts, they don't include all the other conflicts, and as I noted the deaths and losses on the settlers side is low because of technological advantages.

References to the New Testament date to about a century after, coincidentally coinciding with the writing of the volumes which became the New Testament itself four centuries after. At the onset of the 1st century, as far as history goes, Jesus did not exist.

1 Clement (c. 95 CE) cites Romans, 1 Corinthians, and Hebrews, making it one of the earliest sources for multiple New Testament books.

Christianity spread voluntarily. The Roman Catholic Church on the other hand stopped being Christian when they put their proclamations and mandates above the Bible. For instance talking to the dead is called out in several places as a sin, yet Roman Catholics talk to saints and Mary almost in a worship manner.
So believing in Jesus (Christianity) is not a Roman Catholic thing.
0 ups, 3w,

Voluntarily to begin with, maybe. You could even argue Christianity might not even exist if Constantine hadn't "converted" (if he ever really did, but anyway). Yes, Christianity started off as a very minority sect, and if the Emperor Constantine had never converted, who knows? Maybe Christianity wouldn't even be a thing and we'd've never have heard about it. It would have faded into obscurity along with countless other sects.

But we're not talking about that. We're talking about the entire history of Christianity.

Colonialism.

Entire continents conquered. Entire ethnic groups wiped out. Actual textbook genocide. All in the name of Jesus.

The Atlantic Slave Trade. (Where were the good Christians calling that out? There were literally "good Christian slave owners". Most people nowadays would rightly find that morally repulsive.)

Witch hunts. All peaceful and voluntary, right?

The Spanish Inquisition?

The rise of Nazism. (Where were the good Christians calling that out? Germany had a church too. Why didn't they do anything? Why didn't they at the very least call out Hitler? Were they scared?

You know, before they ramped up to the full Holocaust, the Nazis started their genocide by gassing disabled people on a small scale (Down's Syndrome, blind, deaf and dumb people, autistic people, schizophrenic people, anyone with any perceived "weakness" or disability or Alzheimer's). Doctors were in on it too btw. So was the church. Very Christian.) This is all documented. You can read about it. So don't believe me. Google the T4 programme. This was a precursor to the actual Holocaust. It was like a trial run.

And other examples.

At any single point, the German Church could have called this out. Did they? A few notable people did, actually. But the Church basically let it slide. I'm sure Jesus would be proud.

Zero backbone. Zero morals. Zero Christianity.

Some Christians.

No offence, but I think I'd rather take my chances with atheist sinners who actually care about human rights and take a stand when they witness human rights abuses.

So please don't give me this "Christianity spread voluntarily" nonsense. It is not just historically inaccurate; it's extremely offensive to the memory of all those killed in the name of your religion, and you well know it.

You can argue Islam has committed atrocities all you like. Fine. But don't you dare try to argue that Christianity was spread "peacefully". It's just a big fat lie. And disgustingly offensive.
0 ups, 3w
TL;DR Your religion is just as violent (actually, orders of magnitude more violent) as the religion you're attacking. (And actually caused more innocent deaths than Islam anyway).

Your religion has an extremely violent history so you fail on that point too. How many countless MILLIONS have died in the name of Jesus? Due to slavery, colonialism, and other things?

You "holy" book is just as violent as anything. *Much* more violent than anything that the Qur'an contains. (Do you want me to quote every violent verse in the OT? I can do that if you want. Verses that literally call unequivocally for genocide, slavery or God knows what.

But sure, let's all focus on 3 f**king verses in the Qur'an that apparently say "kill the infidels" if you take them completely out of context, when entire chapters in the Old Testament talk about genociding entire people groups and killing everything that breathes. Give me a break.

Sorry. But you don't have a leg to stand on. And you know it. I don't have time for this nonsense. Sorry.

Remember: cast the first stone.

Next question!

All I can say is thank GOD I'm an atheist, lol. And actually have morals and shit and care about human rights, and don't have to defend some bronze-age text that justifies disgusting immoral shit and ridiculous nonsense. I pity you.

Your premise is flawed, no Christian would go against the teachings of the Bible (which they believe) is the commands of God to do any of the things you described. It was people claiming to be Christian. For instance the command in the old testament to not suffer a witch to live was to the Israelites and only them. This was because in those days witch's used dead things in their rituals and spread disease. The new testament which is to the new covenant says to convert them instead and therefore there are no witch's living.
Catholics think murder is an unforgivable sin, yet they did wars and the inquisition. By their own rules they gave up heaven. They were not Christian.

No true Scotsman... but Christians are exempted from following Yahweh & Yahweh Jr's law anyways because they got a new deal tailor made for the pagan Roman anti-christ killers of Jews and corruptors of the faith...

The nation that has killed most people in history is England. But even they are eclipsed by Christianity, which has killed more people than all religions, political movements, countries, and whatever other entities in history COMBINED.

Nope. You failed to understand. There are specific things that make you Christian (belief in Jesus and all that entails). A Christian might be tempted and fall into sin, but they aren't going to torture people for a living. It's just not how it works. "You will know them by their fruits"
As to your quote above, Jesus fulfilled the law and writ it upon our hearts. That means we fulfill the law voluntary and not our of fear. A lot of the mosaic law was specific to the Israelites. A lot of Jewish laws were added after.

Correct, there are things that make people Christians. Ironically, they're actually anti-christ in source and nature. Christians are anti-christs. They are a corruption of the Word, which is not theirs. They are a Roman pagan anti-christ political tool of control.

Nope. You are confusing Catholics and Christians again.

Yawn. I can't even be assed to respond to this because it's so boring and lame. Thousands of years of history, politics and religion and highly complex topics condensed into a single badly written viral simplistic meme. "Islmaic" nations are going to take over the world. You're right. Oh well.

I can't help you. Better build your bunker, mate, and stock up on toilet paper and baked beans and bullets or something. Godspeed, brother/sister.

Or maybe stop reading nonsense online. I have better things to do than respond to every conspiracy theory on the internet. (Especially from people who've never even visited a single Muslim country or left their village. Not saying that's you btw. Maybe you have and you've been all around. If so, awesome and I'm glad, and you know real life is a bit more complicated. But a lot of people who make these "memes" fall into that category, no offence.)

You should probably learn history

What's your point? Islam was spread in large part by military conquest? I think we all know that.

With the exception of Iran, of course, which Rome was never able to conquer, and Islam couldn't conquer the whole of Europe likewise.

Iran had nukes, duh. That's why the Romans never messed with them. So your argument falls apart there lol. Just like Scotland. Get your facts straight, libtard. Accept you lost the argument. #owned

We're tired of you people and your sloppy reasoning.

Honestly, it's like arguing with kids lol. It's not even a challenge. Open an encyclopedia. Liberals can't even read.

Defeating Democrat voters is easy lol. They can't even read.

And they say we're the dumb ones? Lol.

In another world, I would laugh. Honestly. But here we are. Netanyahu is actually the leader of a nuclear-armed country and not in life imprisonment for war crimes, like Milosevic, Hussein, Gaddafi, etc.

I have the darkest sense of humour imaginable, believe me. I laugh at the sickest shit. But I wish I could laugh at this.

This man is still at large. And not in prison for the worst crimes against humanity.

(Inb4 I don't support Hamas either ffs. I'm not a lunatic. They can also go to hell. So you can take that lazy argument and shove it up your lazy ass. How idiotic can you even get? I want both psycho "governments" gone. Is that really so hard to understand ffs? Are we 10 years old?)

It's not the war that is funny, it's the absurdity that frames it that is. It's also ridiculous, it defies the simplest of logic.
0 ups, 3w
Yeah. It's so absurd and f**ked up watching countless innocent people get killed, that sometimes the only way to preserve a shred of your sanity is to resort to gallows humor.

Oh btw when I said "you" I didn't mean you personally, just so you know. English is stupid. Just replying generally because half this forum seems to think anyone who doesn't have a photo of Bibi as their phone screensaver is some kind of raging Hamas supporter. We don't all support terrorist nutjobs, folks. It's not "rocket science". Oh wait.

Would it blow your mind if I think both Iran and Israel are bad?
0 ups, 3w
Actually no. Not at all. If you mean the Iranian regime and the Israeli government, and not Iranian or Israeli citizens, who are just people.

No, that wouldn't blow my mind or surprise me in the slightest.

Iran is run by a tyrannical theocracy that is guilty of mass oppression of its own citizens and extreme human rights abuses.

Israel is run by a far-right government and I think needs no introduction.

Iranian and Israeli citizens are just *people*. I have no issue with them whatsoever. I've met and know people from both countries. People are people. Not all of them are saints, sure. But who is?
