Yet, in the factual world, US intel services and the UN both say that minimal damage was done to the facilities, and, at best, the program was setback by 6 months.

He'll insist that Trump negotiated a cease fire. Except that the Iranians and Israelis were still shooting at each other when he made his declaration on Truth Social.

And then you have to wonder- how did Trump do it? I don't mean in a figurative sense, but in a material physical world sense how?

Because the US and Iran have no direct contact. We don't have ambassadors in each other's countries. We have no ability to talk directly to each other- leader to leader. Everything we do with Iran has to be done through intermediaries- specifically the Swiss.

So, when did he have the State department contact the Swiss government? What did he have them communicate to the Swiss to then turn around to communicate it to their local embassy who then made an appointment with the Iranian government.

And keep in mind, this is the real world and not a movie so the Swiss and Iranians are on a different time zone than we are. So... how?

The only evidence we have that Trump negotiated a cease fire is his rants on Truth Social. So, really, he was just posting on Truth Social. That's the evidence you have.

Well CNN also reported that major damage to Irans nuclear capabilities was done, so either could be true. CNN again has reported that Israel and Iran are at a ceasefire.

Both totally destroyed and only set by 6 months cannot both be true. One is wrong. And now CNN is reporting that the sites were not totally destroyed.

So, CNNs earlier reporting was... wrong. That doesn't mean they were lying. YOu'd have to prove that. It does show that...they were wrong and have updated to current facts.

To be clear, it's okay to be wrong. All you have to do is say "oh, I was wrong about that." and then update to the current known facts. But conservatives like American Viking will never do that.

They'll stick to their original assumption and cling to it despite more and more evidence the were dead-ass wrong.

And, again, the US and Iran have no direct communication. We don't have each other's phone numbers. All communication is handled through neutral parties like the Swiss.

I said either not both. The white disagrees with the assessment. I never said CNN lied, I said they reported two differing opinions.

All I think we can be sure of is we dropped hundreds of thousands of pounds of munitions designed for this exact kind of strike, some think it worked, some dont, and Iran agreed to a ceasefire shortly afterward.

People will draw different conclusions based on those facts.
