8 out of the top 10 most polluted cities in the world are in China

Hopefully they can fix it. By reducing our imports and making our goods with American jobs, we don't have to relegate China to being a manufacturing hub, thus we're allowing them to innovate and improve their own country. Given their significant technological progress, they'll find a way to solve pollution within the next few decades.
2 ups, 7h
They won't fix their pollution problem until they care about the environment. I don't see that happening any time soon unfortunately.

And then suddenly out of the blue just like that, conservatives declared themselves to be The conservationists | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
You mean like with the Gila River, drained dry so that Pima can't use it in order to make sure all those pools in Arizona got filled? The lower Colorado River, lowered to a trickle as it goes out to sea, or at least used to, drying up that delta?

Isn't Environmentalism/Conservatism one of those hippy dippy Communist Leftist Liberal Progressives Movement thingys that Trump is getting rid of? The EPA has been handing out permits to pollute like it was confetti at a homecoming parade this year.

Oh, wait, you mean the Grande Elon? Oh yeah, good ol' boys have been ditching their 4x4s and trading them in for Tesla trucks lately, right?

While Trump did fund production of domestic nuclear and renewable energy alongside domestic fossil fuels, I was hoping Elon Musk would do more to challenge the existing Republican notion on climate change and environmentalism.

Trump funded what? On what planet?

Elon didn't challenge it because he doesn't care about it. He's an opportunist who take over some companies and was made rich by Obama. Yes, you're right, Obama can do some bad things on occasion, and the Elon Frankenstein is one of them. $38 billion in tax funds, $8 million a day, $7500 in Elon's pocket for every Tesla sold. Obama did that. Obama can do bad things sometimes. Elon it's not an environmentalist. Elon is Obama's creation.

Look up how much electricity is wasted on Bitcoin, something which doesn't even exist and it's not used other than being traded as a pyramid scheme. Yeah the amount of electricity you utilized is astronomical. So much, that they actually have to use it even higher amounts of electricity just to cool the computers. How's that for the Neu Conservative Conservationism?
0 ups, 1h
But Elon's leaving politics now. His companies genuinely benefit science and technology. Without him, who knows if EVs would go mainstream, who knows how long the Boeing astronauts would be trapped up in space, and who knows how big NASA's budget would have to be?

the trump admin won't actually remove left-wing outlets, they'll just convince them to use actual facts to justify their views instead of balled up anti-trump sentiment

taking down left-leaning outlets would be an obstruction of free speech but also very costly to do so, which is why they can't and won't do it

his facts?
TACO said he had already made 200 tariffs deal, but couldnt name one country, so reporting on that is fake news- bahhh bawwww

Taco is a fair nickname. He's pulled out of most of his tariffs or reduced them so much that they are unnoticeable

He could follow the law? Congress has control of taxes and tariffs, TACO needs to read the law and the Constitution!

Were Biden and Obama breaking the law when they set tarriffs?
2 ups, 5h,
1 reply
No, because they followed the law. Specifically, Obama followed this one: The Trade Act of 1974, as amended (19 U.S.C. 2451) (Section 421).

The TL/DR of that law is that the executive branch was required to do several studies to prove things with facts. They didn't suddenly declare a national emergency and start churning out executive orders.

Trump isn't a king. He doesn't get to decree things like "get me a diet coke" or "put 145% tariff on China" and it happens.
3 ups, 5h,

Actually, they (Obama and the various staffers running the Biden Administration) did do exactly that.

Take a quick perusal through the list...

You asked about the tariffs set by the Obama & Biden administration and being legal. In a matter of a few moments, I was able to find the laws the administrations followed in order to enact those tariffs.

And now you're "bbut but but Obama & Biden declared national emergencies too!!!"

If you want to know why those weren't challenged in court and found to be unconstitutional, that sounds like a great research project for you. But, at a guess, both adminstrations did their homework and made sure they were within the bounds of the law when they declared a national emergency and issued an EO to deal with the issue.

Because the Trump adminstration has clearly not been doing the homework, and that's why they keep losing in court and the 'Big Beautiful Bill' contains things that say the President can ignore a judicial injunction.

working WITH congress, that's a NO nor when Clinton reduced the size of govt- working WITH congress. Why does TACO have so many executive orders but very few new laws?

Even moderate news stations are critical of him. I don't know deep down what's going on, but the Trump hype is dying and he needs to do something that legitimately helps people to get it back up.
