There is no racism there! Those are called "standards"!

There is a lot more to being an American than just getting over a border. It is a lifetime of experience including respect and love for your country and fellow citizens. We are lacking that when we open our borders to every Tom Dick and Larry.

Congress and our judiciary should have zero foreign born people. That is the problem with the Democrat party as it has lowered our standards of excellence to no standards.

It's that your "standard" is white, male, and born in the US. You're a white supremacist, so you don't see it as bad. It's just how things should be. That's why you think any immigrant/brown/black people shouldn't be allowed in a position of power or authority.

So let's talk meritocracy; if you've been paying attention, you know there are quite a few members of Congress (mostly on the right) who, despite being born into their citizenship, spending their entire lives immersed in the English language, struggle, often fail to put together coherent sentences in interviews, congressional hearings, etc. If the ability to speak the common tongue is held as a hard line demarcation between viability/inviability relative fitness to serve, should those people be in office?

What racism? Don't see anything about skin color.

It's the "doesn't speak English" and "foreign born". Those are code words used to create plausible deniability. It's like "88" or "14 Words".

It's a coded phrase that lets the speaker signal "I'm racist AF" to other in-the-know racists but gives an escape of "i DiDn'T kNoW iT mEaNt ThAaAaAaAt" or "i DiDn'T mEaN iT LiKe tHaAaAaAaAt."

Because that's what she's going to say, because that's what people like her ALWAYS say. It'll be something like "you're taking my words out of context" or "I meant anyone, not just those specific brown people" or something like that.

But they do mean it. They do mean brown or black people who came to this country from somewhere else. Pay attention, you'll see it. Watch the commentary around the Ukrainian woman who serves in Congress. Those phrases won't show up around her. It's always brown people.

Try immigrating to a country whose main language isn't English and not bothering to learn the native language. See how long you last before you get kicked out.
