I say take a job at your local DHHS office and do a tally daily of all the non English speaking applications processed, then tally all the reports of undocumented house hold members fraudulently applying for benefits. Those are the ones who answer questions honestly. I say start a translation company and get paid boo koo bucks from the government who need translation services.

Another funny one is when someone new to America sees their pay stub, takes it into a health care office and says they have healthcare coverage because it's on their pay check. Gets me every time.

Nothing is free in this world. Someone has to do the work. And forcing people to work for you is not compassion- it's called slavery.

Making money off of someone else's work is the definition of slavery in my book.

We had the creative power to create a caring society yet we chose this. What if someone can't afford healthcare? Do they deserve to die?

Any country with socialized healthcare still makes you pay.

While it's true that there are costs for everything - the Koch Brothers own study showed that a single-payer system would lower costs, across the board, while improving levels of service received.

Currently we spend the most, with some of the worst outcomes...

My solution is a system of PRIVATE, mutually democratic, and consensual care... You pick your own providers, who are willing to give you the treatment, that you consent to receive - and then Congress and the HHS just cuts the checks - like it was going to the Pentagon.

Currently the US Dollar is propped up by the idea that the people are collateral upon the ever-expanding National debt. So the owners have a duty to maintain their property. And a healthy society is a more productive workforce. MAHA and a single payer system, could work seamlessly, hand-in-hand.

You get what you pay for... well, not really in a socialized medicine system... there you pay more and get less...

I think that reflects the misplaced priorities of Tory and Labour Governments - and not any inherent inability of a State system of healthcare. Our Government (Congress, the President, Judges) get GREAT care from a socialized system...our Veterans and soldiers generally do ok, as well - though not as well as their bosses, obviously.

When the Koch brothers paid for a study, it came to a different conclusion - that costs would go down, and service would improve.

But after Biden's mandatory lethal injections program - I can understand why people may have been 'poisoned' on the idea of single payer...where at one point (2016) it was majority popular. So what I'm suggesting is a completely private, and for profit system, like we have now - but without any insurance companies getting rich by denying people care. One payer - Congress - just cutting checks for needed care, and not having any input beyond that.

I mean it's payed for by taxes in other countries and American instead pays taxes for healthcare but tgat healthcare does everything possible to not pay

Her point seems to be that people deserve to have good healthcare, regardless of ability to pay... Back in 2016, a single(Government)-payer system was Majority popular - even amongst Republicans.
