Were I the type to cut them some slack, I'd say they're still in shock from the smackdown back in November, and just give them a little time to get their footing. But I'm not that type... at least not with them.
Fundamentally their problem is two-fold. First, what they stand for is crap. Even some of their toadies in the media are questioning the political acumen (or lack of) by focusing on these social issues that generally run about 80/20 against their position. Nice to see team demonrat show some cracks.
So, naturally the second issue is they don't have any positions that people can be FOR, nor anyone with the political charisma to even deliver a bad message. They trot out Walz for the weekend TeeVee shows like he's some kind of savior instead of the bug eyed lunatic that he seems to be, because that's all they have, and he's worthless. Less than worthless... he's a liability, but they're too stupid to realize it. So all they have in their tool bag at the moment is 'orange man bad'. And not having anything to be FOR, but only something to be against, just ain't flying with the rest of the country. Trump's numbers are better than ever since he issued the tariffs, and they cannot comprehend it. Their pea minds are collectively blown.
What's really sad about them, is their leaders, the elites, the ones who are part of the 10% that own 93% of stocks, has 'them the sheeple', like these here on imgflip who bleed blue, out in the streets doing their protesting for them. And those elites don't give a damn about anything other than taking a little hit to their portfolio's value. Talk about the rich raping the poor! It doesn't get any more blatant and pitiful than that.
