Sounds like you were getting price gouged to begin with. Or in California...So same thing! Walmart being bigger and one of the only stores in miles (It is actually two towns over, I am very rural) I have noticed it takes a little longer for prices to drop!

It was about 3.99 until the recent price increases and yes it is California.

And to be clear I am talking about 18 not a dozen! But yeah they were a little less than $3.00 for 18 before Biden admin ordered them 150 million birds slaughtered. Then what was it that died 100 million. Had to expect a huge jump in price until the younger ones were able to start laying eggs! Almost 2 million eggs out of circulation a week is hard to come back from!

I don’t think Canada or Mexico killed theirs off. I guess the bird flu only attacks American egg layers cause I didn’t see any substantial price hike in chicken meat either.

Canada and Mexico went with herd immunity to keep prices down. Biden they were going to lose and did everything he could to hurt Trump in his first month with prices! Even though I think he voted for Trump because he was forced out and probably didn't even know he had dropped out of the race until he saw it on the news! Signed by autopen!

For starters, Trump is allowing more oil production so the price of transporting and refrigerating eggs is declining. Additionally he isn’t ordering the slaughter of myriads of laying chickens because one or two in a flock MIGHT have bird flu.

The glue affected more then one bird, was transported by birds and killed birds

So because the FLU affected a few birds in a flock we have to kill all the healthy birds. And you wonder why the price of eggs skyrocketed. Now after a few weeks of not killing off thousands of healthy birds because one or two in a flock of thousands is possibly sick (not even confirmed) we’re going to annihilate the laying supply.
