It's not just ridiculous taxpayer funded sponsorship of transgender surgeries, it's the trillions of dollars of waste across all the gov't depts. For example, Boeing charges the White House $4 Billion dollars every 4 years for a brand new 757 "Air Force 1", which obviously a brand new plane every 4 years is unnecessary. When Trump's 1st term, he tried to stop this contract, because Trump purchased his personal 737 for $168 million and knew exactly what a 757 costs including all of the flight equipment on board.

Also the screwed up priorities. So we're talking about S. America here right so it's-

Transgender surgeries for kids vs. rampant corruption throughout S. America countries, drug cartels and all the evil they do, who knows what is happening with the tribes that live in the deepest part of the Amazon, heck, even the state of the Amazon itself isn't talked about much nowadays like it used to.

Money for surgeries seems like a very low priority compared to everything else that goes on down there.

We’ve been gifting them millions of dollars annually for decades, and it has not lifted a single person there out of poverty. Meanwhile the politicians there have become immensely wealthy.

Millions?
Try billions.

Actually poverty rates have been declining much of Latin America over the decades.
There are some cultural practices that limit that (what's happening here now has been happening there since they were Spanish colonies), but things have improving, depending on the country.

Giving more money from taxpayers isn’t doing enough. If we really want to help them we need to encourage private business to invest there.

No we don't need to do anything.

The only thing we have that they don't have is winter. They get to grow crops year round, and most of them have plenty of rain to do it with, except with some semi-arid regions here and there - which is where much of our agricultural centers are centered as well. And while mining can get sweatier in the tropics, it's sure beats freezing your nuts off trying to chisel through frozen ground.

No excuses. They've had five centuries, even more time than we've had. Time for them to grow up. And if they can't, well chalk up the results to survival of those who really want to survive.

These are places where they can grow much of their groceries in their own backyards. If they can't feed themselves, then that's on them. No excuses.

I’m good with that. No more money going there.

Eh... I mean it probably has top secret military hardware that they add new stuff every 4 years.
I have no problem with this as long as it gets audited and everything is justified.

Instead of ordering a new one just update the existing one.

yes, airline companies only pay less than $200 million. Assuming there is special military hardware or security, it shouldn't cost more than $1 Billion and the gov't can just upgrade the equipment every year.

Basically taking apart a plane and refitting it in order to keep it up to date and putting it back together again might prove even more expensive than starting from scratch. It's like renovating a house, cheaper to knock it down and build it anew then stripping it to a shell and going from there.

Nevertheless, pretty obvious at Boeing is ripping off the government, has has many private companies were such practices have been subcontracted out to. YAY RONNY REAGAN!

Not actually Reagan’s fault per se. Many government departments have a “Use it or lose it” budget so they all overcharge the government, knowing there’s money they will give them. It goes clear back to the Continental Army where it became so rampant that Washington had to order General von Steuben to audit the books and find where corruption was in order to buy supplies and pay the army.

But as for stripping AF1 and AF2 to shells and refitting them, they would only need to update those pieces that are outdated. It’s not likely that every system is outdated within 4 years.

It made sense. In the beginning anyways. Who knows how to run business better than businesses? The more streamlined, the more profit. It's in the own best interests.

But after a couple years of getting big booming contracts, they get to waste more of our money because they have nobody to account to. They are, after all for-profit businesses. Remember, that's what makes them good at business, they're good at business. So the solution becomes worse than the original problem.

Look at King Elon. Slashing agencies, workers, programs... all in the name of cutting the budget, a budget that is wasting taxpayer money and putting us in ever increasing debt. Didn't that taxpayer funding free flow turn him into the richest person on planet Earth? Let's see how much he slashes out of his own pockets with this current shindig.

Heck, anybody want to bet me the amount that he's got in the bank that he's not going to end up any poorer out of this deal?

Anybody?

Anybody?

It's not Reagan's fault. It's ours for believing him.

I will bet a large sum that elon skum will continue to throw shade on dumpf, goose-stepping on everybodys toes here and there, so that people will absolve dumpf of blame later. 'It was Elon, dumpfs innocent..' 😆 transparent sh*t.

Simping is a primary tool in Trump's skill set. He was born rich but was always rejected by New York Society because he acted like ultra-crassy nouveau riche.
That didn't stop him from trying to fit in, hence his lifelong desperate quest for acceptance from his domineering betters.

But there is a convenience in forever being in their shadows, that is that he's able to scurry from one to another and point fingers and blame them when things go awry. He can never find acceptance, not even from himself, therefore he never accepts responsibility for anything he does.

I don't know, i see coordinated efforts from the press, from the swamp, from all his apologizers, to keep people on track in supporting dumpf, as per script. And if they need him to put in place their big agendas, ie ai digital convergence and governance... then hence look at what the dems are doing! the controversies the distractions all around him that mean people dont see whats really happening.

Actually he already cut the Tesla subsidies.
