No. Why would I willingly choose something as evil as burning down the best system ever designed that has brought the most wealth, freedom, and opportunity to the most amount of people in the history of humanity? For what? A vague idea of "compassion and community? We already have that under the US constitution.

Then you need to consider free markets which has been the only system capable of delivering compassion and community by raising people from poverty, providing for people's needs, and creating financially stable futures for the most amount of people in history. AND created the most generous nations in the history of the planet.

And I think it begs the question: do you really want communal living and community ownership of things or do you just THINK you want that?

Free market capitalism is the most successful experiment of non-forced community ownership: that's called the public stock market where you can purchase ownership of public companies. Communism has never once successfully done anything remotely similar and never once delivered on the promise of communal ownership.
