But just for fun, let's say the inmates are running the asylum. Think seriously about that idiom for a moment. We're an asylum that has been run nearly into the ground by the non-inmates, to the tune of being $36.5 TRILLION dollars in debt. (probably closer to $37 or $40 TRILLION by the time you see this post.) AND, as we're finding out, much of it is wasteful, fraudulent, and abusive to Americans who could use that money for good right here at home.
As a thought experiment, you might be wise to consider letting others run the asylum for a while. All they're really doing is saving you money.
But no, dems seem to be insisting on maintaining these large expenditures of money that we do not have, often facilitated through the sham money laundering / kickbacks thru the swamp and the administrative state that we the people cannot touch. Can libs say UNELECTED BUREAUCRATS in the administrative state? Probably not... or else they would expose their own hypocrisy.
And no, we don't clean that up by continuing to send good money after bad until it's all figured out. Or in the case of dems, never figured out because why? They don't want to.
Trump and Elon are doing what an efficient business does. Shut down the operation that's hemorrhaging cash if it's not critical to the business' operation, and then figure out what's going on.
That's just common sense.
But liberals and liberal judges don't care about that. They don't care about the people in this country or even the people in other countries, since we've given money to terrorists who have killed not just Americans. Liberals and liberal judges only care about the swamp's ATM machine that Trump has shut down. Sorry libs, your ATM card has been cancelled. Go earn a living for a change.
So please, go on and demand that we continue following failed policies. You're only guaranteeing that Trump and MAGA will consolidate their 2024 win come the midterms. And while you're at it, please continue to compare the serious attempts to correct those failed policies with something as silly as 'the inmates are running the asylum' comment.
Obviously libs are not serious about keeping us from hitting the $50 TRILLION level of debt.
