A coworker today told me about the history of the song in question — but the t was never called a “black national anthem” until it was hijacked by the Marxists. The song may be good but has a bad report now

According to the DNC you have to sing anthem for each gender and a third for any gender times every ethnicity in existence...that would take months of 24/7 singing to get to the kickoff.

There IS a Jewish National Anthem, and a Middle Eastern, Asian, Pacific Islander, Hispanic, Native American, and Black citizen one... and that was written by Francis Scott Key during the War of 1812.

It's name is known as The Star Spangled Banner. It is a song that is INCLUSIVE for the DIVERSITY you address above and is EQUALLY representative of each and every
ethnic and cultural faction of people within these United States of America.

You may prefer John Philip Sousa.
He wrote for ALL of us as well, to take pride in our shared nation, individually.

I agree. If people want to sing “Loft every voice” and stand when it’s sung, no skin off my nose. But they shouldn’t through a tantrum if I don’t stand when it’s sung.

So why is only the first stanza sung? Why not all four stanzas?

"Lift Every Voice and Sing" has 3 stanzas.
All are sung.
Maybe your idea of only singing the first stanza could speed up the game...
Or, just sing one stanza from one song &
