The problem lies with quotas, this company HAS to hire this many women and this many minorities or else, so what happens if there are no qualifed applicants asking for that job? They hire based on race and gender, that is the problem with DEI inititives. The whiole idea forces one to think if someone was hired based on race and gender. When a company hired solely on Merit based qualifications, you know the person is qualified, No matter what race or gender they are. Its common sense.
