What you fail to comprehend is that wealth is not cash in a bank that can just be given to somebody else. Oh, you could take all of Bezos’ Amazon stock and sell it to give the cash to poor people, but who has the cash to buy that stock? And why would anybody wanna buy that stock if it’s just gonna be taken away from them to give this poor people?

If we forced Bezos to sell off the stock of Amazon, or Gates to sell off Microsoft, or Musk to sell off his companies, etc this would devalue the stock and so the companies would go under, close down and put thousands if not millions of workers out of any means of income.

Yes. Some people don’t get this! Consider all the employees of those companies and all the peripheral business and jobs generated.

Stop purchasing things from mega stores, an Amazon .. but still the supply chain is all connected. So unless the government steps in and places rules and regulations, anything goes, the wild West has won. Just like all those companies online that pay sales tax. That was once the only way to get around sales tax.
