This is the headstone of my Great, Great grandfather James Robert Fears, Company H of the 23rd Missouri Infantry, Grand Army of the Republic. I think that exempts me from paying reparations to anyone.

I am a descendent of the revolution have descendents who founded Massachusetts. To being a descendent of a man who rebuilt a bridge so both natives could travel under, while pioneers could travel above, along with a descendent who was pregnant and kidnapped with her nurse, who watched her son and husband die, just to pretend to sleep and scalp 15 men at night, to escape back to the colony. Descendents who fought in every war against America soil. Descendents who lived on reservations with no native ties. Lineage of decident being born in America with no parents on a citizenship record. It means nothing to me, yet it means everything when I'm forced to self identify as a Caucasian, or white. I refuse to even answer such a question because I am American.
