Have you ever noticed your own facts smell OK?

The same people who believe paying a tax can change the climate (literally the weather) scoff at the idea of a worldwide flood despite fossils of marine life being found in many inland places and all world cultures having stories about one.

To them government is god and serving it allows them to feel god-like, as they decide who gets FEMA relief and who doesn't for instance. Or sway public opinion as in the case of the "news". Or indoctrinate future generations in the classroom, it's all in service to thier god making sure it is fed and continues to grow stronger.

Which is why you could find the fossils of (obviously long extinct) prehistoric whales from 50 million years ago in Egypt but not in the Midwest? Or the fossils of shellfish on top of Mount Everest but not the Deccan Traps in the lower latitudes of India?

You're really not going to make much headway trying to knock out a modern fairytale with an old one that's far far more distanced from reality. Heck, according to that paradigm, climate change would have to be man-made because the Earth is only thousands of years old. It simply hasn't been around long enough to encompass the climatic shifts it has gone through through billions of years that it hasn't existed because it's only existed only 6,000 years.
