Because the instant Trump became president in 2018 the economy instantly recovered from 8 years of an unending Obama recession? Maybe Trump understands the economy in a way that the supporters of Bidenomics and their hyper-inflation policies do not. Yes . . . so it seems.

My point is that inflation might not completely go down overnight and there might be other factors that can't be instantly solved once Trump or really any politician is elected.

Nor would that be a surprise. Nobody really expects actual magic from Trump just as nobody having paid attention to what's happened during the last four years EXPECTS sanity or commonsense from Dem Party politicians.

If that was his plan, it started working long before he was even sworn in. Projects on hold in my town were green lighted the night after the election because they knew he was business friendly.

I am not forgetting that the covid lockdowns did destroy the economy, my point is that a politician getting elected isn't gonna automatically make inflation go down and make the cost of living completely affordable again. You can't be sure if such a thing will happen right after Trump is elected, there might be a lot of other economic factors that won't automatically be solved overnight.
