My wife is a legal immigrant who has her citizenship. Her English is better than a lot who were born and raised here. She has a charming accent (to me at least!) and her grammar is probably at about 90% that of a person with a good solid midwestern upbringing / schooling (which is me.) Her English skills have helped her immensely, both personally and in business. She's a far better example of how working hard and playing by the rules makes for success here than the flood of illegals Biden and Harris let walk right into this country.
People like her are the types of immigrants we want. Not gang members from other countries, ejected criminals, military age men from adversarial countries, coyotes, etc., etc.
Having standards (e.g. quality and quality) is how most other civilized countries handle their immigration. We should, too.
