At least you realize that electric doesn't necessarily mean "green" as one would think it is. Electric cars still cause pollution with mining lithium batteries and yes trains are a viable transportation option, in fact there is a really nice new high speed train line built in Florida by a private company called Brightline. It was completed very recently, its customers praise it for they like just riding the train better than driving their car and getting stuck in highway traffic, its extension to Orlando was completed last year, it's still being extended all the way to Tampa and the Brightline West line from Las Vegas to Rancho Cucamonga, California is well underway in its construction stage. Private company-owned Brightline is proving to be getting completed a lot faster than the California government's high speed rail line which isn't even halfway complete and has unfortunately wasted over $100 billion in federal funding. Brightline also got federal funding once but it was a one time $4 billion grant from the federal government but they put that grant to good use as an extra boost of investment capital and didn't waste it on needless government bureaucracy and poor planning like California's high speed rail. Here is a short video about it: https://youtu.be/t44mlIuh8wo?si=w231GzreXYFi7Wae
