The best part is that their ideology actively pays unemployed people to NOT pick the crops, thus obligating other people to come and do it because 'americans don't want to'

Then for every 1 person that picks crops, 40 come in who don't and if you want at least some of those people sent back, their argument immediately jumps to the 'who will pick the crops if you send all 41 away?'

They also complain employers won't pay a "fair" wage, but then turn around and argue that farms are entitled to cheap imigrant labor? If the farms couldn't pay an "unfair" low wage to undocumented immigrants, the labor market would force them to raise wages to attract domestic labor. It's simple economics.

Most farms are subsidized by the government. They literally can't pay their bills.
