In truth I'm sort of leaning toward the idea that it's rank incompetence on a monumental scale by a leftist DEI-infested Bureaucracy-controlled Secret Service to the extent that it rather resembles a macabre comedy special on late night television.

I am not ruling that out either. But I just don't know what to think. I know that there are no shortage of leftwing nutjobs who would just love to see Trump dead. So it could be a bunch of things. And I'm not ruling out what you said either. You could be 100% correct.

I suspect that the official investigation into this will take years; but I also think that as soon as Trump becomes president again the Secret Service will undergo a top to bottom reorganization and new training along more traditional standards. But we shall see.

I remember the person engaging in violent political rhetoric threatened to flag me for harassment for stating the government was investigating their hate speech.

I will check later to see if I can determine exactly who it was.
