The Texas government is to corrupt to fix the state's power grid. I noticed once again Texas politicians (Greg Abbott this time, Ted Cruz last time) fled Texas ahead of the latest climate change disaster.

The climate has been changing long before humans started using fossil fuels.

And now that we pollute the atmosphere with so much fossil fuel carbon, climate change is accelerating us toward a heated planet with more severe hurricanes and other climate change disasters. Our grand/great-grand children will hate us for doing nothing to stop this.

Do you hate your ancestors from the last 5,000 years for doing nothing about it?

Global warming only started happening since the industrial revolution and the burning of fossil fuels. Do you think our ancestors from 5,000 years ago had oil wells and refineries?

No and that my point. Global warming and cooling is a natural event. It’s been happening for hundreds of thousands of years. It’s pretty arrogant to think that humans can cause or reverse this cycle.
Having said that, I am all in favor of using clean energy so we can breath clean air. But the climate change scare tactics being used to get people to comply and vote for higher taxes and redistribution of wealth are dishonest.
