CONCERNING AN UNDERSTANDING OF BIBLICAL TEXTUAL TRANSLATIONS FROM ONE OR SEVERAL LANGUAGE(S) TO ANOTHER

"Try the King James. It's a literal translation."
My response:
What is Translation?
"Something that is translated, or the process of translating something, from one language to another."
"changed into someone's own language, not in the original language."

"What is translation?
Translation is the process of converting the meaning of a written message (text) from one language to another.
Translators must strike a fine balance between staying true to the original meaning and making a text sound natural in the target language—to ensure that the final text communicates the same message, feeling, and tone as the original." phrase.com
The King James Version(KJV) is a good Shakespearean-like English literal translation:
- but it's dated with fewer manuscript authorities & without the input of many discovered after its creation.
- it's also an sectarian Anglican Church Head Monarch's authorized English translation of the Hebrew, Aramaic & Greek Bible.
-It does not profess to be GOD'S AUTHORIZED English Language Bible for ALL Peoples & FOR all Time. Needful to be translated into other languages in place of or irrespective of the original textual languages
Therefore it is not an exclusive version authorized by the Lord God by which all other literal translations must be subjected to.
I agree there are concerns with non-majority NT text translations & with those that are dynamic equivalent rather than literal translations. Yet though New Testament texts show some variations, they generally agree on major & essential doctrinal matters.
A comparison of different translations in light of their textual manuscript authorities & their translation methodology is a fruitful study tool of Biblical understanding.

1. Capture institutions
2. Gut education
3. Control the press
4. Deputize informants
5. Punish dissent
