I don’t think it is just the rich yet your point is well taken. World governments are poised on relieving the carbon problem. Much bloodshed from wars, preventing and extinguished life. Slow and tedious, way to reduces carbon, viruses can be more affective albeit unpredictable at times. I hope nukes don’t go off. Bad day for all.

Problem with nukes is they make land uninhabitable for years. They just want the people gone.

I agree yet even those bad characters (WEF and others) don’t control every players.

When a guy who rejects the notion of climate change and drives a diesel truck receives more criticism than the guy who demands we change while flying his private jet back to his ocean-side mansion,
you know the issue (at the very least to the populous) is more political than environmental

You're right, the rich are gaslighting the masses into believing climate change is their (the masses). They gaslight the masses so much, they brainwash the masses into supporting big government policies like carbon taxes, environmental regulations and other things that don't actually reduce carbon emissions but make the cost of living even more unaffordable for the little guy. Making the cost of both gas for one's car and one's electricity bills more needlessly expensive than those things already are. And if that's not bad enough, California once deliberately made the whole power grid shut down during the summer of 2022 in the name of curbing carbon emissions, the only one who didn't have to cut back on electricity in his home was governor Gavin Newsom very hypocritical don't ya think? Think about it, the rich can afford to pay carbon taxes with their vast amounts of wealth, they don't feel they need to cut back on their electricity, gas for their car or even the fuel for their private jet, they can just keep using all the fossil fuels they want and pay carbon taxes without their bank accounts being even a little bit affected. The little guy however with what little income the little guy has is a lot affected by carbon taxes and has a lot of a harder time shelling out their income to the carbon tax and cutting back on household electricity and gas for the car.
