Supposedly, yes; but I bet there are technicalities that can be utilize. For instance, if the nominee is too ill to perform his or her job. The sticking point is Kamala since according to the Constitution she is supposed to replace Biden if it comes to that. But Kamala is universally unlikable.

So forth and so on. To ME it's currently looking like the DNC is sticking with Joe all the way. But again, we don't really know what the inner core of movers and shakers are either thinking or planning.

Other than the cabinet with the 25th amendment, nobody in the government has the ability to keep Joe off the ballot. No one in the DNC has the ability to stop the primary nomination process.
The 25th amendment removal is not an instantaneous event. The President has recourse to challenge it.
The Dem strategy will be stay the course to win the election, and deal with it after the election. Taking the Joe off the ballot for incompetence means they need to pull the 25th amendment on him. They do not want to do that.
If Joe wins the election, there’s a very good likelihood Harris will become the president at or shortly after inauguration day.
The Republican strategy should be to hammer that home to voters, because Harris is less popular than Biden.

Yes, if the DNC follows the law sans coercion tactics. Obviously they have got a huge file of dirt on both Joe and Jill Biden. If they want Joe to resign due to health issues then resign he shall.

As for legalities the DNC is notorious for going its own way and for getting away with an incredible amount of stuff. I'm not saying that they will take the illegal route; I'm just saying that if they do there's a much better than even chance that they will get away with it.

Taking Joe off the ballot before the convention has some very negative consequences. 1) – the convention probably will become a cluster f**k to determine the nominee. 2) - whoever comes out as nominee will not have much in the way of campaign funds and Joe’s funds cannot be used for that candidate. 3) - that replacement candidate most likely will not be on the ballot in three critical states because of timing issues on declaring the candidate.

Yes; but depending on what the DNC wants to do with ownership of the House or Senate, they may go that route anyway just to be seen by the voters to be trying to do something constructive regarding the Joe Biden cluster-F. Not saying they will do this; just pointing out the range of possibilities.

I have absolutely no idea what they will do; but right now I am suspecting that they will end up doing nothing. That they will just let this political farce finish playing out while they continue pushing bogus court cases against Trump.
