It simply doesn't work. In theory, socialism works by buying and contributing in bulk. The problems are that office oversight, human error, and violation off set those savings. If socialism worked, large cities such as NY, chi, la, etc.... would be dirt cheap to live in.

True. The problem is America is far less a free market than it used to be. It's gone from free market capitalism to corporate capitalism, a problem greatly exacerbated by the plandemic forcing most small businesses to close.
