You'll vote for Trump, but they'll cheat and Biden will get a 2nd term. They control the vote counters and the repubs didn't do jack to stop it.

Don’t you all constantly tout the constitution whether it be the 2nd amendment, the 1st, the 4th, the 5th or any of the rest of them? And wouldn’t electing anyone for a third term violate the constitution? Does that not bother you just because he’s your god?

The only reason Trump would be running this time is because the last election was STOLEN from him. This meme is tagged 'political humor' but the left has a hard time understanding 'humor'.

Of course we believe in the Constitution and you should, too, but have been influenced by people who shouldn't be anywhere near our government, OR education,OR children for that matter...

John Eastman described the election fraud in 2020 in great detail during his speech.

The Biden regime and deep state players DO NOT want you to know this.

I agree. I don’t trust Trump with neither our government, education, nor children. Biden isn’t much better, but you know what they say, pick your poison
3 ups, 7mo
No he hasn’t served three terms, so there’s that. No violation of the constitution exists except I your mind.

Popular vote doesn’t determine the winner because it’s not a popularity contest.

Archaic only to the “woke” Marxist communists. It was set up that way for a reason. That reason was so that less populous states wouldn’t have to live under the tyranny of the mobs in the populous cities. It works and is effective. The founders were way smarter than that leftist college professor who spouts this drivel to ignorant youth.

Of course it applies to presidential election otherwise New York and California get to pick the president for all the states because they are populous. What you propose is mob rule. Majority wins. The majority simply would vote down anything that doesn’t benefit the majority. Pure democracy is a sure fire plan to mob rule by the majority and tyrants. That’s why we are a Republic.

How would New York and California decide elections when states do not matter? You realize that campaign strategy would adapt to the new rules, right? Instead of securing states, candidates would need widespread appeal across the board and actually have to compete outside swing states. Or are you insinuating that New Yorkers and Californias are monolithic?

And for the last time, Republics are Democracies.
2 ups, 7mo
But not all democracies are republics. There is a difference.

We are the United States, i.e. a coalition of states, not people. The states retain certain sovereignty to cater to the people of the state. Therefore.it makes sense you have to win states as otherwise the more populous states that tend to be
Leftist would have outsize influence.

But I thought the purpose of the electoral college was so that the less populous states wouldn't have to live under the tyranny of the mobs in the populous cities? Is that not what is happening under the electoral college as it stands? Does not population dictate the electoral power of the state? If you disagree with a democratic elected system, then surely the answer is a more republic system where each state holds equal power?

It’s a system that has worked for 2 centuries. You got a better idea? Popular vote? Nope not better.
0 ups, 7mo
I told you my better idea.

Have the states have equal power. Done.

It makes sense for Congress, yes, but for the president? A leader supposed to serve the people? Shouldn’t someone serving the people by elected directly by the people?

And if you’re wondering why the electoral college was established in the first place, it was so the elite would remain power in voting for the president. In the early days of the U.S., citizens would vote not for the president, but for electoral college delegates themselves, and those delegates would then vote for president. It had nothing to do with states, just keeping power out of the hands of the common people

So it was a check against the mob imposing bad ideas? Your contempt for our founding documents and insinuation of evil intent is an indication of woke indoctrination.

“ The authors of the Constitution put this system in place so that careful and calm deliberation would lead to the selection of the best-qualified candidate. Voters in each state actually cast a vote for a block of electors who are pledged to vote for a particular candidate.”

Listen, I love this country as much as you do. That’s why I am critical of parts of the constitution that I think could be better. If your child was misbehaving, would you let them continue because you love that child? No, you correct their behavior, because you love them. As a mother, I should know
