Let's be honest about this, Veebs.
Marxism is idealistically attractive, sexy even.
Looks fantastic on paper.
Makes one think, "Why the F aren't we doing this?"
But then you add the human element.
Therein lies the ruination of the promised Utopia.
Somebody, group of bodies, will always control and benefit from the labor of others.
Who determines when the work say starts? Ends?
Who determines one's ability?
Who determines one's needs?
I think younger people, especially, confuse "wants" with "needs".
Marxism provides the individual only a subsistence level of existence.
It is wise to ask oneself this question:
Why would the wealthiest of people in the world today push so hard for the socioeconomic change to Marxist communism if they will not further gain in wealth and power?
Marxism is just a lousy version of capitalism.
Instead of being a wage slave the individual becomes a slave of/to the state.
It is one thing to be conquered and enslaved and quite another to demand enslavement.
We would all be trapped in the open air prison of Penal Colony Earth.
Well, it will become clear that we are all trapped on Penal Colony Earth...serving a life sentence.
