Aside from not sourcing the numbers you casually toss around, which is standard for you, nothing screams 'this crap is made up' like using vague words like that. I know, it's not really you fault and I don't blame you, because I will speculate that you did a copy and paste job. So the original author has to take some of the responsibility.
It doesn't matter though, because this isn't a gun issue Stanley, it's a people issue.
I've been handling firearms since I was about 7 or 8, and I'm not in any of those so-called statistics that you presented. If this was a gun problem, and based on how often I have handled firearms, then those statistics would dictate that I, or one of my children would be included.
The reason we're not is because before I was ever allowed to come anywhere near a firearm, I was schooled, extensively, on firearm safety.
Just one good example for you; if it had been me or anyone else trained to correctly / safely handle firearms instead of Alec Baldwin, Halyna Hutchins would still be alive.
