When any convicted insurrectionists do run for elected office, then there's cause to remove them from the ballot. But the Supreme Court just pointed out the blatantly obvious that Trump has not been charged nor convicted of insurrection.

the case in Georgia for "racketeering", which means to run gambling or under-handed money making schemes, will be a very difficult case to win that Trump, because the prosecution has to prove that Trump contacted GA Secretary of State Raffensberger for a profit-making scheme and the other charge is for harassing an election worker. Even though these are serious charges, neither of them are insurrection.
