Yeah, the question was more rhetorical.

Last summer there was a meme complaining about Zegler cast as Snow White, and the OP brought up why not Gal Gadot among others. So I had looked her up to see who she was and saw that she had played Wonder Woman. I never got back to that meme, but meant to point out that why wouldn't be OP have a problem with a foreigner playing the All-American Wonder Woman, who, incidentally, was portrayed for several years on tv by Lynda Carter who just happens to be of Hispanic background, but American as well?

Because Gadot *looked* the part, as did Lynda Carter. It has nothing to do with being a "foreigner". It's the same reason nobody had a problem with Jessica Alba as Susan Storm in Fantastic Four.

Wonder Woman is a bit on the curvy side, complete with a rather buxom bust. A bit whatever, I know, but, you know, comic books? Protruding ribs and clavicles that you can grate orange rinds on don't look anymore the part than Hardy would have if he wasn't totally roided up to the max for that Batman movie he was in.

Ironically, you you know who would have looked the part, especially considering how she strikes up fear in the eyes of certain members of the reading audience?
