What happened to Republican PRO-A BORTION Candidates?
They were everywhere in the 1970's...
Ran on it and got elected. Carried placard signs....
Then all of a sudden, Ronald Reagan waved his magic wand of 1980 Landslide Election

Poof !!! No more Republicans of that Bent. Even his VP saw the light of his wisdom
Say you're for it, yet legislate and change nothing

They told the tale and closed the sale.

Common practice - tell the people what they want to hear.

You believe in a big brother government.

You think it is required to make the personal decisions for people who are incapable of making them on their own.

It's really quite fascinating how fk'd up that is.

Covid "vaccine"

They said the same thing about the "vaccine" and you were all for denying the individual right to choose.

How do you address this contradiction?

You can't get pregnant from someone not having an abortion

Oh, it's just under 8% who will die, so what?
You're not pro-life. You are pro-birth.

I would not have my child were it not for abortion. Yes, that is true.

Be careful what you wish for.
70% of all women seeking abortion are poor. You'll be inundated with poor people and children. Single women who will then have to leave their jobs, their education, their hopes and dreams for the future and stay home on your dime. Their children will live on your dime. Crime will begin to sky rocket in about 14yrs, just like it fell 14yrs after Roe v Wade. The worst cases will be against blacks in inner cities.

So this OK with you?

Instead of, or in addition to, the millions of illegal immigrants living on our dimes?

Why do you think black people will be worse off for increasing their percentage of the population?
0 ups, 9mo,

Immigration is a completely separate issue and not related in any way to abortion.

People are worse off when they cannot make their own choices and have a big brother government making the decisions for them.
0 ups, 9mo
Like whether or not to get "vaccinated"?

Based on your statement, illegal immigration poses the exact same issues and "burdens" on society as not having abortions does.

Might help you to know that even when the abortion right was held at the federal level it was was more restrictive than several state laws.

What are your thoughts on that?

8% who will die?
You suck at math.
The circumstances that can be loosely be interpreted as the mother "will die" are
-the woman's life was endangered by the pregnancy (.065%)
-the woman's physical health was threatened by the pregnancy (.288%)
Which makes for at max .353% that will die. And those should all be covered under basic medical exemptions (as well as the .666% for serious fetal anomolies)

This is not to rape and incest aren't valid reasons. But seriously, learn to stay on topic and keep your facts straight.

You focus on numbers because you use them to justify your complete lack of acknowledgement toward people you want to discount.

This was a CHOICE, independently decided upon by a woman and her doctor. You believe the very same government that is corrupt, rotten and needs to be defunded, is better at making decisions than women are, WITH THEIR OWN BODIES.

It doesn't matter what I say or think because more than 80% of Americans think it also. THIS IS A LOSING ISSUE FOR YOU.

I can't wait till 2024 to see the removal of even more republicans from office.

*This is not to say rape and incest aren't valid reasons*
For some reason autocorrect deleted the word "say" which is important to the comprehension of what I meant.
0 ups, 9mo
If they are valid reasons, why are Repub legislators completely ignoring them and fighting to make sure THEY ARE NOT VALID REASONS?

Now they are going after birth control.

By 2024 they won't be able to get elected as dog catcher.

So, to clarify and verify; the point made in summation:

Abortion is a great additional societal method of birth control
for dealing with those absent minded erotic impulses of ignorant, impoverished, underfed, criminals.
And in the parting sentence, add in a sprinkle of race.

Abortion is health care and not a method of birth control.

Condoms are only 90% effective
Many women cannot use the pill but again, the anti-abortion crowd does not listen to the needs of individuals

Anti-abortion:
1. Discounts accidental incidence as "gods will".
2. Removes personal decisions by making gov the decision maker
3. Completely ignores the reproductive needs of women, actually making some sterile or die
4. Makes no guarantee to actually increase overall births
5. Will in fact make more people live in poverty
6. Will increase the need for gov support for the populace
7. Will hurt the outcomes of women, ending their hopes and dreams of education, who they choose to marry and their relationships
8. Forces "God" and a false morality upon a people. (When Roe v Wade was originally approved, VERY FEW RELIGIOUS PEOPLE OPPOSED IT)

Anti-abortion is a manufactured outrage. The wedge issue was actually discussed and created by a round table of men, who decided they could use it to make a particular flock of sheep follow them and vote for them. THAT IS ALL ANTI-ABORTION IS.

Good thing it's NOT that:
-"health care" is not what you think it means
-Condoms, when worn, are 100% effective. The 10% issue is fibbers in the dark, saying they've got one on. I'm sure that's as befuddling for you as for their consensual partner.
-Allegedly, women whom cannot use the pill as in the recommended duration of two years, then don't "take a break" as in the instructions on the package, only are sparing themselves from certain cancers of the fatty tissues within the "Lactation Appendages".
-There is a contrast when wants and needs are compared.
FYI, *Wants are not Needs.

...the numerical list that follows the initial concepts expressed are boring.
To Some, not all, yet to some, Abortion is the snuffing out of a viable human baby, a loving being.

The continued repetitive attempts at "Justification" of that practice as a GOOD Thing for society or for individuals, is sad and pathetic. There is no outrage. only sympathy and empathy.
0 ups, 9mo
Abortion is most definitely health care. Without out it, I would not have my child and my wife might be dead. She would also have had to endure the birth of a non-viable child without a skull.

I don't give one shit toward what YOU happen to think abortion is or is not. F you and everyone like you!

Sorry you're bored with reality. It's easy to see why with your head stuffed so far up your ass.

"inundated" as in Human Overpopulation Control through justifiable Genocidal Methodology
0 ups, 9mo
People have been using any and all methods to reduce births since before recorded history. If many on the right got their way, all forms of birth control would be outlawed.

Populations have been dropping around the developed world on there own, not due to abortion.
0 ups, 9mo
Most people (I'm aware there is still the odd zealot) who are anti abortion still favor exceptions for medical necessity.
But most abortions aren't performed out of medical necessity.
What most anti-abortionist are against are ELECTIVE abortions. Where the reason is due solely to the decision of the mother (whose decisions led to her getting pregnant in the first place).
Most even favor exceptions for rape. (Although legislating that would be complicated and open up can of worms of unintended consequences)
I think abortion should remain legal (at least in the first two trimesters) but I abhor the rhetoric that tries to frame abortion as a positive thing. If an abortion is genuinely warranted, something horrible has already happened.

It's still a f**king percentage, you are aware that people can need abortions because they would die because of the pregnancy, you are aware some need it because the baby would die, you are aware that some need it because they didn't get pregnant consensually, but you still think that those people shouldn't get abortions because they aren't the majority?

Stay strong. Their arguments are based on over dramatizations.

Many states make allowances for the circumstances they are indicating.

They would be better served making their comments to their state legislature. They are the ones that can change state law.

The supreme court simply determined abortion legality was a matter for each individual state to decide for themselves and not the federal government.
1 up, 9mo
They want to continue forcing 10yr olds to have their fathers rape babies because "every life is special".

Sick, sick bastards.

We're living a real life Handmaid's Tale.

Great thing is that even though rape is HORRIFIC, a pregnancy resulting from rape is extremely rare....

...and even in those horrific, rare, minimal cases, sometimes the mothers CHOOSE to give birth to their baby and put it up for adoption, because two wrongs don't make a right... and they come to realize that the baby ought not be sentenced to death for their biological fathers crime.

Rare mother with that ability to forgive, yet is sure a loving gesture.

It is also DENSE, to think there is only your correct CHOICE in the pro-choice camp.

It does not hurt my feelings for a woman to make the Correct Choice, and give birth to her baby every time she finds herself pregnant, even when Abortion is Legal like it remains in many states.
