What are your thoughts on raising the minimum wage?

Big business loves raising the minimum wage because it drives out small business who can’t absorb the additional costs and they just pass the costs along in the goods you buy and still get their margin. Lower Cost of living is more important but a balanced plan to deal with both would be best. Minimum raise increases alone won’t move the needle for the working classes.

Minimum wage increases sound good but solve nothing when the price increases are passed on through corporate monopolies owned by the same investment firms regardless of their retail name. Buying power has been eroded despite a 15.50/hr minimum wage in my state. You can’t buy any more than you could 5 years ago when it was 10.00/hr. Your communist slogan is just that another bs slogan that solves nothing.

You do realize that every single problem you brought up is the fault of capitalism, and not whatever far left ideology i espouse that is not shared by either of the two parties.

I realize that what I brought up is directly related to your “raise minimum wage” bs leftist mantra. None of it is the fault of capitalism but it is the fault of those who seek power to corrupt it. Our founding fathers knew this would be the nature of men. That said no ideology holds its citizens in more contempt than the communist and socialist.

I disagree. Employees of Raytheon, Lockheed Martin, and the rest of the Military–industrial complex are benefiting handsomely. Not only do they pay taxes but also large campaign donations and speaker fees. If people have to die, does it really matter that they live in Maui or Ukraine?

Anyone hear of ANY celebrity homes destroyed in the Maui fires? How long before the wildfires are used as an excuse to declare “climate emergencies,” complete with new government powers and reduced rights? 🤔
