Maybe because schools in america like to leave out stuff like who the party of abolitionists and civil rights were. And which party founded the KKK...

Just a hunch this will be teached in a similar manner.

If schools are trying to hide those facts about the Democratic Party, it is part of a broader effort to undermine the teaching of black history in general.

Destroying history does not eliminate my point, it strengthen it.

Destroying statues that were put in place in the 50s with the literal intended goal of scaring black people away is not "destroying history." You are either a rube, a racist, or both.

Bullcrap. Every time someone tries to give you a source you call it a conspiracy website or whatever.

Then maybe don’t give me a conspiracy website as a source.

Here's a notion: get the info from a source that doesn't have an entertainment/opinion disclaimer or a known history of posting false stories. It's much harder to argue with news coming from a reputable organization... say some place like The Hill; they're a little right of center but they have a strong reputation for factual reporting... so long as you steer clear of the op/ed section.
