Yeah, many leftists adhere to Marxist socialism and support lgbt rights but many socialist leaders were very anti-lgbt, many communist dictatorships like Stalin's Russia sent gays to the gulags and promoted the traditional nuclear family as much as Christian theocracy or fascist regime.

Many of those promoting Marxism will be the first locked up if Marxists ever do gain power. That is exactly what happened in the USSR. There were lots of liberal ideas going around in Russia before the revolution.

Name literally one country that fully decriminalized homosexuality during Stalin’s rule. Fully as in gay people had the same rights as straight people. Hell, name one that wouldn’t just put you in jail for being gay.

Hmm, did you come up short? Maybe think about why for a bit. Evaluate whether you should really single out Stalin for this or not, and maybe question the overarching narrative about gommunism you’re always fed while you’re at it. I know, critical thinking is literally Cultural Marxism, but also maybe think about that too, just for a little bit. The term, I mean.

When I see a progressive wearing a Che Guevara t-shirt, I have to laugh. Historic illiteracy. Reframing history to suit a political "side" is disingenuous. Some cultures have always been more or less tolerant of homosexuality. Socialist/Marxist/Communist still reflect their cultures somewhat. Not sure why the "Queer Community" would think Socialist/Marxist/Communist might be their salvation. Western Capitalist countries are more likely to support gay rights.
