A child’s choices = the doctors fault

So if we are going to give pre-pubescent children the ability to make life altering choices, then we might as well let them vote and own a gun.

Did you know that in the vast majority of cases when a pre-pubescent child says they are in the wrong gender that once puberty hits they never talk about that again and continue to happily live the gender they were born. BUT if they are given puberty blockers they never go through that natural change.

That being the case when parents force their kids to subject themselves to puberty blockers or, worse, genital mutilation, what choice does that kid really have? None. It was taken from them.

No. It is NOT the doctors fault. It is the parents and some cases the teachers.

My best friend was born a biological female and is trans. I had not idea until he mentioned it 5 years ago, we have known each other for 10. He took these “evil medications” and he says he couldn’t be happier.

That is good that your friend is happy and I seriously mean that. I am not being sarcastic.

However, there are a lot of miserable people whose parents made them take the chemical castration drug to prevent them from going through puberty. That is unnatural and immoral. The choice MUST be that of the individual who suffers from gender dysphoria and no one else and they MUST be an adult.

I seriously believe that before any more colossal mistakes are made that if anyone wants to take a drug that alters their body or has an surgery to reproductive system, they MUST be at least 18 years old, preferably older. This is a life altering experience and it must not be rushed into. The person who is undergoing these procedures MUST be 100% positive they want this because there is no going back. They should be required to undergo at least a year of psychological evaluation from an unbiased psychiatrist.

The suicide rate among those with gender dysphoria is very high. Why on earth would you force someone into life altering changes to the body when they might not be ready? That would only increase the risk of suicide.

I am no psychiatrist but looking at this logically, if there is a high suicide rate in the trans-gendered community then there is something about themselves that they want to escape. So much so that they think changing their gender will help them escape. I think that is true of people with other types of dysphoria, not just gender. And when they make the change, some of those people realize that gender wasn't the problem and the eventually end up committing suicide.

This is not everyone with gender dysphoria. There are many who make the change and are very happy they did. I am only concerned about those who never find that happiness. Those people need help. Playing along with their gender change and ignoring the underlying problem of them trying to escape themselves is not going to prevent suicides. But that is not where the left has taken us. If we don't ignore their real problem and play along, they we are called transphobic and bigots. By taking this stance the left is contributing to the suicide rate being so high. But then socialists are all about decreasing the surplus population and always have been, so maybe they have an ulterior motive behind their actions.

Believe it or not circumcision wasn't a thing for Gentile male newborns in the US until the late 1950s/early 1960s. . .it was also around the time medical ethics started to take hits so what does that tell us.

It turned out that medical science caught up with God and found that circumcised males had far fewer problems. They also have lower penile cancer rates.

I'm not sure what you mean by "medical ethics started to take hits". Are you saying that people were pushing back on medical science because of circumcision?

Just because to failed to understand what I said. The p**is already has a skin, the foreskin is an extra skin. The brain, heart, lungs and other organs are also protected by skin and bones. There is no additional layer of skin to protect them.

I just look it up on a Jewish website to see if they said anything about it being a sin. It said that for Jews, dating back to Abraham, God told Abraham that he and all males in his family and employed or enslaved to him must be circumcised as a sign of a covenant with God. Abraham was 99 years old when he received this commandment and when he circumcised himself. Ouch!!!

Hebrews who are not circumcised "have broken God's covenant". That may or may not be considered a sin, you would have to ask a Jew.

Christians are under no such obligation.

I'm not Jewish. Circumcision is a commandment for Jews, not Gentiles. Besides, my parents put me under the knife when I was a newborn. So whatever you are saying makes no difference to me because I am "keeping the covenant".

Please don't just throw random scriptures out there without giving any thought to understanding the context which those words were spoken. There is just so much more to those versus than some point you are trying to make. Unless you want me to write a long essay which you will never read.
