Hold up, I got that mixed up with gender affirming care, which actually does happen. But gender assignment surgeries do still happen for teens and a few kids now, but you still need the approval of a parent or guardian for surgeries that aren’t for life threatening situations in most cases, so idk where I got the sneaking out part.

Children can't even begin to get transitioned wthout their parent's knowledge or consent, and it's a little more than a sneaking out thing...
