I know it's historically splitting hairs, but the rebel flag was never flown as the "Confederate" flag, but almost everyone confuses the rebel flag as the "Confederate flag".

Biden supporters with the American flag? No, many of them shun it. That's a Trump supporter thing. (Yes, there certainly are some, but a great many of them don't.)

Note that Bernie dropped out of the primary and endorsed old Joe. So most of his supporters are now Biden voters.

Oh, and there it is! The appeal to emotion! The Nazi flag has a very lear cut connotation. National Socialism. Period. But the Confederate flag means different things to different people. Sure, some may take it to mean white supremacy, and some even use it that way, but some people fly it to honor ancestors, some for historical reasons (I own all the National flags, as I collect old flags), and, again, some people just fly it specifically because liberals don't like it. Again, I'm not defending either flag, but there is a distinction to be made here.

By the way, I'm not defending the CSA Battle flag. I think it is stupid for people to fly it (other than to honor Confederate soldiers- and ONLY common soldiers). But painting everyone who supports Trump with the CSA flag would be like associating everyone who supported Biden with the flag of the USSR.

Anyway, that flag, although I don't like it, can have different meanings to different people. I'm willing to bet money that he wasn't advocating for slavery. Sometimes people fly it to show "pride for the South," others flying it for historical purposes, and some fly it just because we love the reactions it gets out of liberals and RINOs.
