Glad to see they were joking | If only there was an economic system that supported these kinds of transactions. Just think what a wonderful place the world could be if there was a market system were we could freely exchange capital. Oh wait... I think there is. It's called free market economics. Dude, I more or less brought up this concept in class once. The question was, how do we encourage capitalism in children in schools? I mentioned that kids sometimes trade lunches or Pokémon cards. Apparently, that was not an answer they were looking to discuss.

Did I mention that this was a grad-level core English course?

Socialists, communists, nazis, fascists, and any other variation of socialism that has been inspired by Marx, all despise the free market soooooo but they have no understanding of what it is.

A free market economy (or as Marx called it, capitalism) is just as simple as the socialists described it in their tweet on Twitter. It is just the free exchange of a product or service for another product or service. The exchange can be a barter or it can be done with currency, it doesn't matter. And that is all it is. It is nothing more and nothing less.

Marx spent his life trying redefine free market economics into something evil, but the problem was that Marx, himself, was an evil and corrupt man who hated mankind. He hated Jews and, like Hitler, was a Jew. He hated blacks and only referred to them as the n word. In his spare time he wrote love poetry to Satan. In the end he had alienated himself from his wife and children and died a lonely, penniless, wretched man.

A corrupt man cannot possibly device an economic system that is not corrupt.

Jesus said, "Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them." - Matthew 7:15-20 (KJV)

The fruits produced by Marxism are genocide, torture, slavery, misery, starvation and extreme poverty.

"Socialists, communists, nazis, fascists, and any other variation of socialism"

Nazism and fascism aren't variations of socialism

"Jesus said, "Beware of false prophets" "

Jesus was a false prophet, according to the Bible's standards

"The fruits produced by Marxism are genocide, torture, slavery, misery, starvation and extreme poverty"

Sounds like the history of red states. Slavery, poverty, misery, etc

Prove those statements, otherwise, you are just stating opinions.

According to the Bible, somebody is a false prophet if they make a prophecy that doesn't come true. Jesus prophesied that people alive at the same time as him would see his second coming, which didn't happen. Therefore, he is a false prophet.

Dude, it's literally in the Bible that they did.

You're a false prophet.

"You're a false prophet"

I'd have to first be a prophet before I could be a false prophet, and I don't claim to be a prophet

" "Sounds like the history of red states" when they were blue states."

They never were blue states. States like Mississippi and Louisiana and Alabama have been conservative for their entire history.

Just stop. You know that Democrats in the early history of this country fought to keep slavery. You know that Democrats in the early 20th century fought to bring Marxism into this country. You know that Democrats are socialists, communists, fascists and nazis. You know Democrats are the most racist party in this country.

Two centuries ago, sure

"You know that Democrats in the early 20th century fought to bring Marxism into this country"

Not sure

"You know that Democrats are socialists, communists, fascists and nazis"

Nope. And some of those groups directly conflict with the other ones.

"You know Democrats are the most racist party in this country"

Nope

It's just a case of two types of socialism fighting for control. Hitler was more fascistic while the German socialist party was socialist.

It was a power struggle and Hitler won. Hitler, like Mussolini, let private businesses exist but he was in complete control. Hitler hated capitalism.
1 up, 1y
No, it wasn't. And you know this already.

"let private businesses exist but he was in complete control."

He allowed them to do as they will, he did not control individual businesses.
Also, that is Autocracy, top heavy rule.
Socialism is the reverse, rule from the bottom up - the workers are in charge.

Fascism is directly opposed to socialism and communism

Ha! I reply to you anyway, even though you shut down the reply option.

"He allowed them to do as they will, he did not control individual businesses.

Socialism is the reverse, rule from the bottom up - the workers are in charge."

And so did Mussolini but the economy was still tightly controlled and regulated, so that it gave the appearance that the workers were in control.

After all "workers of the world (or in Hitler's case, Germany) unite". Hitler may have claimed to be a nationalist but his goal was global domination.

Regardless the Labor Theory is a complete failure. Giving focus to labor over consumer is a disaster. It's not a theoretical disaster, it is an actual disaster every time it is tried.

And neighbor helping neighbor is also the Bible.

Interesting communists hate the Bible and capitalism yet say both should be done under the guise of communism.

"And neighbor helping neighbor is also the Bible"

Can you name a culture that doesn't promote that? Because it sure isn't unique to the Bible.

They quote Acts 4: 31-37 and point out that they had all things in common and that there were none among them that lacked anything. What they will never ever tell you is that what the apostle practiced was VOLUNTARY, not forced. Nor did the apostles ever say "thou shalt have all things in common" or anything like that. They didn't even allude to saying that this is how you should live. It is just something they tried and it didn't work out very well because in Act 5, Ananias and Sapphira dropped dead because they held back a part of the profits from the sale of their land for themselves. This is common in all forms of communal living and it way many of them fall apart.

I don't know when the Jews started forming kibbutz's but if it was after the time of the apostles then what the early Christians did was just an early form of kibbutzism.

They started them in 1909. Since Jesus said he'd return within his Apostles' lifetime, then they began during their time.

BTW This is a real tweet that I pulled off of Twitter. It isn't made up. Some one forgot to tell the Socialist Part of Great Britain that they are supposed to hate capitalism, not perfectly describe it as a part of their socialist utopia. You cannot have a free market in socialism, communism, nazism or fascism. These kinds of transactions are forbidden.

Whoever said that is stupid as shit. Socialism is about politics and economics. Atheism is about whether or not a God exists, and literally nothing else.

Surely you can admit that there are and were governments both now and throughout history known as theocracies. Muslims, catholics, and jews have all done it.

Your saying that atheists are somehow above all that? (Atheism is about whether or not a God exists, and literally nothing else.) Give me a break, it's basic human nature and Psychology 101 to use religion (or lack of it) to control the masses. That is what makes the U.S. unique is that, on paper at least, we are all feee to worship (or not) as we see fit.

Atheists are capable of being totalitarian, but that isn't a theocracy, because atheism is not a religion. The closest thing you would find is some countries which have enforced a sort of national atheism.
