For example, the Irish have always been oppressed, a good deal of Jews were white and oppressed etc. Black people were more oppressed than most races, but to state that they are the only oppressed race is disrespectful to the sufferings of all the other people who were oppressed

I agree with you but I have a few things to say on this.

Actually even the notion that blacks have been more oppressed is not even accurate. If you go to the Middle-East there have been areas where whites have been cruelly mistreated by many races, blacks included. Jews obviously had the Holocaust costing them 6 million lives (one third of Hitler’s death toll), and Stalin (though he was white himself) oppressed millions and killed 20 million of his own people. Mao oppressed his own people, killing 65 million. There’s mistreatment all over the spectrum, and it’s never been about what skin color everyone is, but who has the power. Evil people in power don’t have to care about race, or anything. They’re just evil. In America the people in power were white people for a long time, but all slave owners weren’t white. (The other thing is that only 1.4% of whites were slave owners, meaning they weren’t all as racist as we might think). There were many native american slave owners, and yes - black slave owners. Did you know Kamala Harris’ grandfather was a black slave owner? Because slavery wasn’t about race - it was about who had the most money. Rich blacks were not slaves - they were owners. Yes, a majority of slave owners were white, but to think of slavery as a “white” institution is inaccurate.

Asians have also been oppressed pretty badly but I think people will quiet down on that one more because asians are far more successful than blacks (and even most whites) and if they both have been oppressed then the question is why is one doing well when the other isn’t, and people don’t want to answer that question because it would actually make blacks accountable for something instead of allowing them to hide behind the “white man held me down 50 years ago before I was born” argument (bc seriously there’s so many 20 year olds talking about how they get no opportunity these days). People will talk about asian oppression when trying to condemn white supremacy and then they suddenly care about Asians but it’s always been clear that Asians don’t matter to the left as much as blacks do. Blacks are allowed to be completely racist to Asians (and any other race) without any problem, but asians can’t be racist to blacks.

The race spectrum is not what everyone thinks because it’s been manipulated to fit narratives.

Literally just saw a black trans tiktoker yesterday saying that it was not okay to be white and if you’re white, you’re automatically evil and racist and should put everything you want to do in life aside and become an anti-racist activist, and even then you still will not atone for your whiteness. If you watch Twitter and TikTok a lot you’ll see this kind of stuff. Because schools are teaching it.

"They" literally, and insanely, try to claim it's "white supremacy", and students have been expelled for posting signs with the slogan "it's ok to be white".

The reason’ people say black lives matter is because black people have been oppressed, and have a long history in the U.S. of being victims of racism at the hands of… drumroll please… whites. Which is why people say “black lives matter”.

But if you're only talking about American whites, when people started saying "kill all whites" on Twitter without being censored, banned, or arrested, that's probably a good sign that the slogan was needed.

I dont think people should get in trouble for it, but really, there’s no reason for it in the first place.

And that was the original point of this thread, people were getting in trouble for it.

One could argue there was no reason for Black Lives Matter either, since it was used to line the founders' pockets, and was based entirely on media manipulation and magnification, highlighting events with black victims of white cops, while ignoring or suppressing other events of all other color combinations.

Even if the rumors of them pocketing money is true, which is unfortunate, the movement did raise a lot of awareness.

Oppressed people haven’t all been black, they’ve pretty much unanimously been poor, and oppression is bad across the board. BLM is a racist and Marxist group led by Patricia, a Marxist trained lady who made herself rich by bating naive people and donated to transgender/radical causes.

So everyone’s life matters, and the US is the most culturally accepting country in the world. We even accept selfish people like Patricia who launder racial causes into $ in their pockets…

Most people are joking, or at the very least, making fun of others.
