Yep, thinking dead people vote for democrats is a “joke”. More Republicans would be wise to understand that as myth instead of thinking it as fact.

I mean, a dead Democrat was on the ballot in PA (and won!), so...

(And yes. I understand there's some strange technicality about PA voter laws. But the state government had no problems bending the rules for COVID, so they should have no problem making an exception when the candidate has literally died.)

In the case that you’re not….

Voting for a dead candidate is a legitimate and optimal choice. Especially in the case of a dead incumbent.

If Trump had died about a month prior to the 2020 election, naturally it would be a choice between President Pence or Joe Biden. Comparably there is no VICE representative. So let’s just pretend the position of Vice President doesn’t exist and the only solution was to either vote for President Trump, who is dead, or Mr. Biden. Are you saying it is foolish to vote for a dead President?

If so then that is most amusing that you would vote for Joe Biden just because he is alive and Trump is not in this hypothetical.

What later happened was that because Pennsylvania’s dead representative won is that it forced an emergency election. The difference is that an emergency election allows time for the office to be secured by a candidate and for people to decide between them.

Because normal people don’t vote for parties, they vote for people.

Voting for a dead candidate allowed them the opportunity to choose another candidate. I would hope one would think that the ability to breath and have a working heart is not the only thing that qualifies one for office. Certainly a brain doesn’t.

I’m sorry but there is NOTHING we have common ground on. Us being Republicans don’t make us the same. I see value in what they say and vote for when they’re not Maga idiots which is sadly becoming a smaller circle every year since 2016. We’ve always had stupid racist mid-west-to-southern Republicans who were essentially Southern Democrats. They pretty much lost power under Obama, and for good reason. Not because Obama was good, right, whatever but because the people finally won their string of cases against discriminatory laws in court. Republicans threw them a bone and allowed them to keep the Southern Democrat religious freedom excuse. But like a hungry dog, they demanded MORE! And Southern Republicans were so sick and tired of losing with McCain and Romney, they would take even an obvious carpet bagger like Trump.

The deep state he rants and raves about is actually the establishment Republicans who’ve been thinking federal rule can be circumnavigated by party rule. A uniformed Republican platform on a national level. Forget states rights, forget the federal government. All you need is party mob rule. And if you don’t for Republicans, then you’re a f**king liberal leftist, a traitor who hates America, and WE patriots will triumph by any means necessary.

I see and hear all that from these Maga Republicans and all I hear is, “waaah, I wish we had the same power and influence as the left. Not to change anything but to keep things exactly the same!”

Maga Republicans and the Freedom Caucus have never been against the Deep State (south/confederate influence) establishment Republicans. They’ve been their ally. Their greatest ally. They make you think things will change. And they will. But not for your betterment or even anyone else’s. Just theirs!
