Jackson's political opponents in the news portrayed him as a jackass in political cartoons. For whatever reason, Jackson liked the portrayal and thus began the Jackass Party out of the Democrat Party. And as the years have gone on they have only proved they are the Jackass Party over and over and over and....

Jackson was a radical and had some wack policy moves but he got the job done, he viewed America as his child and would do anything to protect it.

Jackson's manifest destiny ended getting millions of American Indians or kicked off their homelands. There is one thing that Jackson did that no other president has ever done, especially a Democrat. He got legislation through Congress to balance the budget.
