There’s really no reason we can’t help both.

There has to be a limit on the amount of help America can provide, America is not an infinitely producing country of food and healthcare. If America tries to hand out any kind of help to everyone all the time , America will collapse under the pressure of need . There are 8 billion people on earth and 6 billion are poor or considered by American standards to be living in extreme poverty living on less than 10 dollars a day.. do you think America has the ability to provide for that many people.. or should we help our own first and then look to who else we can assist while putting a limit on that number so as to not cut our own legs out from under ourselves??

There's no reason we should choose to take care of people who came here illegally over people who served this country.
