The concept isn't hard to understand along with the reasons why. Stand because of being proud of the country. Kneel in humbleness before the Lord for what He did roughly 2000 years ago.

Yes, absolutely. That's kinda the point of the lawsuit. Nobody should be forced to KNEEL for the POA just as nobody should be forced to STAND for it.

The fact that she was punished for her action (benched and perhaps cut from the team or kicked out of school) means that the school is overstepping their bounds, hence the lawsuit. She's suing the school.
