The great thing about Truman is that when he left office, he packed up his belongings in his car and drove from Washington DC to Independence, Missouri (right next to Kansas City, Mo). I never said Trump doesn't have one redeeming quality. He did a lot of good for the country while he was POTUS. Of course he was far from perfect, so there's also a lot of bad.

Regarding what he charges the Secret Service, it would be too easy for me to deflect and point out the similarities with the excesses it costs to protect Hunter Biden (according to reports and sources!) so I won't really do that. The bottom line when it comes to anything the media tells us about Trump is that I don't believe it until I check it out. This is because I know for a fact that they've lied to us dozens of times (more, probably). I haven't checked that out, so you could be right, and you could be wrong. But doing so seems like small change, so at a minimum I'm skeptical.

Regarding what he did that was good, and I'm not talking his personality, because that's rough. He's his own worst enemy with the crap that comes flying out of his mouth. If you don't remember the high employment rate when he was president, it's because you don't want to. I think it's pretty safe to say that without covid, he would have easily won re-election.
