Mostly because parents lie about Santa, the Easter bunny, and the tooth fairy, then expect their kids to believe them about politics.

I find it interesting why the older a voter gets the more "conservative" they vote. I used to think it was because of generational differences in ways of thinking, but now I think it has more to do with the older a person gets and especially if they've acquired some wealth, the more taxes and governmental problems they've encountered, so they've learned the government is not here to help us.

Yeah, wisdom gained from experience. If only there were some way to pass that on to our children...

The problem is that many children are raised now in single homes by one parent, and nothing gets passed to them... nothing good.

It's pathetic how many jackasses there are who are unaware of the Separation of Powers that the Founding Fathers built into the US Federal Government, and believe the President has the powers of a King.
