Upvote on your comment. Best way to show inclusion is to live it and be nice to others. But agree the pushing it in your face is a huge turn-off & I am on overload. Also, there is a time & place for everything & this one is inappropriate for both...
The "ONE NATION" in multi colors or underlined by them, maybe (and a beer mug too), given that Qatar has been quite the itch, but ya don't mess with the Red, White, & Blue,,,
1:1, the US is still in!

I’m going to disagree with you a little bit on this one. From what I’ve heard, the logo redesign was for the World Cup in Qatar, a country well known for not having the greatest track record for treating LGBTQ well. It is definitely a virtue signal, but it is a virtue signal in a place where that virtue signal could actually accomplish some good.
We usually are on the same page, OP, so I guess we were due for a little difference of opinion on this one. I just don't like patriotic red, white and blue being replaced by ANYTHING and especially by rainbow colors. I have had my fill of gender issues and the 'in your face' assault from the left. Done. Had it. Moving on. Inappropriate time and place and emphasis not on America but on sexual preference.
I don't think one person's mind will be changed. The force feeding of this agenda has the opposite effect, IMO. One gains acceptance in life through mutual respect of principled behavior and not through forced thought, 'R' rated parades and lewd behavior.
Not one Qatari mind is going to be changed. Instead, homosexuals are likely to face even greater persecution in direct response to this 'in your face' move by Team USA.
Good move, Team USA, poking the bear. I'm sure you feel good about yourselves. SMH
No, because if I'm a U.S. citizen then I can have a say in the way things are run in my country. If I'm traipsing through lower Alabama in the 1940s and see a bunch of democrats wearing hoods and burning crosses then I would do my damdest to fight against that oppression.
If I'm I U.S. citizen I have no say in the way things are run in Qatar. I would go there, kick my little ball around, and come home. I would be a good guest. If I felt strongly enough about the issue that got my panties in a wad then I could boycott the games and just stay the f**k at home.
Yep, that's a good thing, LGBTQR's have the same rights, if not more than, the rest of us.
For example, I can't go into a bakery and demand that they produce a cake saying "congratulations on pumping the neighbor's cat - enjoy the mutant kittens" but a gay couple can get whatever they want and, if refused, get rich in the lawsuit.
Except the LGBT and Woke aren't like that. The United Methodist Church went Woke by letting a lesbian become a bishop. . .in the 1970s. Over the years 'new' teachings like Jesus was just a man to Jesus wasn't even real is some churches began to prevail. Now Methodist churches are disaffiliating with the UMC in droves. In the county I live in the rural Methodist churches all left the UMC.
