Liberal nations are the only ones that are completely unaware that strength is a heavily respected (and necessary) aspect of leadership.
If you aren't showing strength, you're showing weakness by default and most nations won't respect you.
This is why leaders outside the liberal rainbow castle are loud, provocative, demanding and either wear military clothing or have military parades.
