Where's the liberal defense for pushing young teens into permanent body mutilations? I have seen a lot of distraction to issues unrelated, but where's the defense for allowing a child to destroy their life before they have the mental faculties to make such a permanent decision?

We are talking about cutting the breasts off of young girls, or chemically castrating young boys, or worse. Liberals, in general, believe that people of this age are not old enough to purchase and own firearms, because they are not mature enough, but they are allegedly mature enough to "shoot" parts of their body off.

No- no one really believes that they are mature enough to make such decisions, but liberals MUST have approval of their own sick, sinful desires, and brainwashing the next generation so that they can surround themselves with affirmation is more important than the many lives they will destroy in the process.

And in the end, you will STILL have to force people, at the point of a gun for many, to affirm your immoral life choices.

my brother in christ you can't get gender reassignment surgery at that age anywhere the most someone will get is hormone blockers but that rarely happens what will most likely happen is they will socially transition (getting gender affirming clothes, new name, and pronouns) god how some of you don't at least try to research stuff

Further, it states, "We also found that nearly two-thirds of patients referred to undergo phenotypic transition through surgery did so before the age of 18."
Minors under 18 are most certainly getting referred for and undergoing "affirmation" surgery.

1. The majority (61%) were not gender affirming but instead like I said hormone blockers/mental health
2. 417 isn't a great sample size for this kind of thing
3. It's requests not the actual surgery that's happening
While yes definitely some get it the majority do not get it (instead getting hormone blockers) but I do have to agree people below 18 should not be getting it and instead get the reversible treatments or socially transition (like myself being a transgender minor) but it is such a small number of us trying to get it and an even smaller number of us actually get it people just see these people in the headlines more as propaganda to ban transgender people all together (which should not happen)
TLDR: a very small amount of people are requesting to get the surgery and an even smaller amount are actually getting the surgery

After looking at the article and remembering another story i changed my wording I probably should've used that wording before

1. if the majority aren't getting surgery, 39% are which runs contrary to your statement that minors can't get surgery.
2. what would be a great sample size for a miniscule percentage of the overall population?
3. if you actually read the study, you would understand that there are referrals AND actual surgeries happening. 104 minors actually had surgery out of the studied 417 so, about 25% of minors referred for surgery actually had it again, discrediting your anecdote that minors can't get reassignment surgery.
