Since the beginning of the Industrial Revolution, humans have produced more pollution, and burnt more fossil fuels. Fossil fuels are found in the Earth's crust, and are formed from decomposing plant and animal matter. Coal, oil and natural gas are the main types. Burning them produces energy, because they contain carbon and hydrogen. Fossil fuels when burnt gather around the atmosphere and prevent much heat from escaping. This causes temperature rises in regions, and with more fossil fuels being constantly released, global temperature rise will occur. Thank you for your time.
